King Jeremy grabbed him by his shoulders and hugged him lovingly, Levyndrion couldn't resist him and glued his lips with a smile, "Oh son! you have grown up a lot" he paused and turned to his man "Gentlemans meet with my nephew, the Crown Prince of Ximpton Levyndrion Lotheren " the officials bowed giving him the respect he deserves.
Levyndrion was overwhelmed by his uncle, from what he was told by his mother.... he once visited the Kingdom of Dillonia but he was very young then to recall anything.
He didn't expect such doting uncle in his thoughts, the man seemed to be joyous to see him. He was grateful, what he expected was a rigid king of Dillonia waiting for him in the court room but the event turned out to be odd and amusing, the man followed him outside to welcomed him.
"I'm honoured to be here your Majesty " came the words from Levy with a warm smile, King Jeremy held his shoulder leading him inside the castle "Don't mention it, I'm sure you will leave benefited from here" they smiled at each other, once the door was opened he was welcomed by flowers that were spread along the red carpet and a cue of beautiful ladies standing each side of the long corridor.
"Your welcome Crown Prince! how have you been?" said the Queen of Dillonia, she was standing first on the right cue with a smile that reached her beautiful brown eyes.
Just by looking at her features he concluded that she was the Queen and so he bowed respectfully "Thank you your highness, I've been great thank you for caring " he reached for her hand and kissed the back of her palms, he raised his for her to kiss too, the Queen was a bit taken back but she remembered the King telling her that it was among the Ximpton's customs to kiss the palm of the male too. She kissed him and smiled .
Vincent payed his respect too, Queen Ella's eyes darted between Levyndrion and Vincent "And this is....." she muttered curious, Levy held his shoulder "Aaaah... this is Vincent, he is my personal servant given by mother" he mentioned his mother because he didn't want unnecessary questions, like why would he come with a servant when they could give him as many as he wants here. trust issues and staff would be too complicating to explain for now.
"You mother must be worried for nothing, she forgot you have another mother here to look after you" said Queen Ella smiling at his husband.
"She is always worried she is a mother after all" came a reply from Levy and they all hummed in response. Talking about worries King Jeremy's eyes searched in the cues of the servants but he couldn't get satisfied "Where is Audrey?" he asked firmly to his wife , her face was shot with concern she let out a sigh .
On the contrary Levy wondered who this Audrey might be ?
"You now your daughter very well , she got it from you after all. She went downtown for something and said that she would be back by dinner " King Jeremy furrowed at his wife's explanations "Even so! you should've stopped her from going out, at least today that her cousin is visiting after many years!" his expression was calm but his words were full of anger .
So Audrey was the Princess of Dillonia, a sneaky Princess on top of it , thought Levy . Sigh "My King you know how stubborn she is once she puts her mind on something just like you, I just found a letter at her bedroom " Queen Ella chuckled sheepishly to cool down the heat that was boiling form his husband, they have a guest for god sake! "My son ... come with me I'll show you to your room" Queen Ella had to change the topic , the angry energy were still visible from her husband, Levy could see the two lines forming on his forehead he bowed to excuse himself before he followed the Queen along with Vincy.
On their way Queen Ella broke the silence "Don't mind your uncle, he is just never getting used to her brat daughter she sneaks out all the time, you'll meet with her at dinner... very mischievous " she smiled "Yes your highness " he smiled back and he was now very curious about htis Audrey! the royal childrens were bound to be sheltered from almost everything, even he wasn't an exception, his mother had been cornering him like a baby girl, but this Audrey seems to be courageous enough to brake the rules and goes outside the castle to do whatever she wanted to. He was suddenly interested in her and envied her.
Queen Ella took him to his room and handed Vincy two keys for each of them , he was given an opposite room since Vincy was his personal servant. Although there was a huge difference between the rooms , Vincent's room was farm more smaller compared to the massive bedroom of the Crown Prince, they were arranged purposefully soon after their arrival.
"I'll see you at the dinner Levyndrion and feel free to ask me anything " she gave him a quick side hug before walking away. The two settled in their rooms , Prince Levy's belongings were arranged neatly by the servants of the castle.
Vincy was then called by the Head of the servants and showed around the castle, he was given every detail he needed to be aware of, including the set rules.
When the dinner time arrived, Vincy escorted Levy to the dining room where everybody else had already gathered. "Good evening " he thought saying his greetings to each of them but then what's the point of loosing his time, he greeted in general. "Come and sit here son" offered Queen Ella for him to sit beside her, Vincy excused himself.
Levy pulled out a chair and sat , the table was very big, decorated with different dishes as if there was a feast, his eyes studied formation they sat on.
The King at the head chair , Queen on his right hand , then comes him, he creased his eyes and there was a girl on the Kings left hand that was smiling at him, he smiled back curtly. "Levy son, that is Audrey my beautiful but stubborn daughter " she said placing her hand on his palm that was on the table, Audrey bowed at him and he copied her "And Rey... this is Levyndrion your cousin from Ximpton " said the Queen patting his back, Levy noticed how much the Queen was so fond of him when he just met with her today itself, he just thanked his stars that the Queen and the King were not some aloof and grumpy people, but very kind and caring.
"Jeremy look, I told you he looks so handsome just like his father, those lips, eyes, nose and everything " complimented the Queen who seems to be witted by Levy since the firsttime she saw him.
Audrey smiled at her mother's words .
"I agree that he is handsome but I don't think that all of his good looks came from the Lotheren! just look at those eyes, they are definitely Jenes, he got half of it from us Maguires!" he ranted making his wife burst into a laughter, Levy lowered his head at the plate even more, when did he become the topic on the table? he is the focus now and he wished he could run away from there because he was the trending topic making him uncomfortable.
Audrey shook her head at her parents, the two of them were giving a hard time to the young man without their knowledge, "Wow! look at him, Unbelievable! your are actually bragging? thankfully my dear Rey took everything from me except from her stubbornness , isn't it honey?" Audrey chuckled these two won't stop bickering at who is the most good between the two royal families! "Yes mama, I'm your twin" she raised her hand up agreeing only to see his father gasp in disbelief as if he just got betrayed by his loyal person. "But thankfully, I got my behaviours from papa" she said patting his shoulder and they all laughed this time however Levy's laughter was what made Rey on daze a bit, they laughed at their own jokes making the dinner even more lively.
They finished dinner and sat on the comfy couch for a tea , while chatting about past events and Audrey's funniest moments , making the girl shy to even look at Levy again he was laughing at everything at this rate, he was wasn't talking much and just laughed as if it was the only thing that he was good at.
She was excited that maybe they would be good friends and she would get out if boredom in this big castle with his company.
Her big brother Prince Phelipe was the one to keep her company all the time and took care of all her needs but he is gone for almost a year now, he was dealing with the bandits at the borders who have tried to break into Dillonia.
Levyndrion spared a glance at Rey and caught her staring at him with a smile that reached her eyes, she turned away quickly once she was caught red handed, what an embarrassing moment! she thought.
