"I'm surprised it really worked. I mean…I thought we would be scolded since we were bothering our homeroom teacher just to do some healing," Neon said.
Right now both of us were walking down a trail that led us away from the main academy building and toward the dorm rooms. After I was done talking with Ryfin, I'd caught up with Neon and we'd decided to head over to our dorms.
The sun had mostly set, leaving only scattered strips of golden-orange light that lit up the ground as much as it could with its diminishing strength, while the darkness of the night grew stronger.
It was getting pretty late, and during the time Neon and I were occupied with our situation at hand, all the other students had finished their daily routines and gone back to their dorms.
There were a few hanging out in the cafeteria, but they were mostly senior year students who were out there to get drunk and enjoy the night.
