The moon's light was a bit dim… its rays barely touched the ground. However, the grassy fields of the gleaming garden gleamed with a quiet intensity.
Rael's feet brushed against the leaves and meadow as he strolled elegantly, his clothes slightly billowing in the gentle breeze.
A small smirk hung across his lips as he made his way toward the carriage that had seemingly come to a heavy halt the moment the angel mom had stepped in.
The guards mended the horses, their eyes unwavering and dim, almost blank. The carriage door slowly opened outward with a dainty foot drooping seductively.
Then the next moment-
*THUD!*
Avari's unconscious body fell on the grass beside it. The foot still dangling, the woman's toes waving together as if saying 'hi!!! come innn!!!'.
A wry smile crept onto Rael's face as he looked down at the unconscious Avari, in the dark coma of having been marked.
'Now he is truly going to be in the dark…' Rael lampooned slightly.
