Henry quietly enters the rooftop where the wrap party is being held in, he looks around and recognizes everyone from cast and crew and some unfamiliar faces.
His eyes meets with Marc Weber's eyes, He waves and then walks towards him
"Hey Marc" "Hey Henry" They say in unison
Marc lifted his eyebrows and smiled with a hint of nervousness and then exhales
"Phase one is done, next is editing and then release" Marc says
"When will you start editing?" Henry asks
"I only have an advisory capacity when it comes to the editing, but me and the editor have working on and off since we started, but starting tomorrow we will be fully dedicated to the editing" Marc responds with a hint of defeat in his tone
"It's your movie and script, you only have advisory rights with the editing process" Henry reacts in slight astonishment
"It's also my first movie, so I get why the production company wants to have someone more experienced guide me through the editing process" Marc understanding the reasoning for this decision made by the producers
Henry nods, he appreciates how grounded and humble Marc is.
"So who's the experienced editor, would I know any of the films they've edited?" Henry asks him
"The editor is a he and his name is Alan Edward Bell, and I don't think so" he responds dismissively
"What about the release, is Sundance the final choice?" Henry asks
During the filming Henry found out that they plan to submit the film to The Sundance Film Festival, just like what happened in the original timeline, and even with his appearance it seems to not have affected the release
"Yeah, the studio couldn't find a distribution company yet, even after shopping it around town, so plan B are festivals" Marc sips a slug of his beer
"Hopefully someone picks it up" Marc a bit nervous
Henry pats his back heavily, and looks straight into Marc's eyes and with a small smile says "I have faith in you" in a quiet and comforting tone
Marc nods meaningfully
"This is very gay" Henry quips with a scrunched face
They both start to laugh
"I'm getting a drink in the bar" Henry pats Marc's back and walks away to the bar
"Hey what can I get you?" A female bartender asks Henry when he got close
"An Espresso Martini" Henry replies
"Sorry no coffee liqueur" the bartender replies
"Uhhhh.. Negroni?" Henry thinks for a bit
"Can" she just said one word and starts to make the Negroni
Henry leans back onto the bar, he scans the rooftop again
'Not too far off' Hesays to himself
When Jeff first invited Henry to Hollywood, he considered a variety of factors pros and cons and one of them is the culture, he isn't naive to think that there isn't a culture of sexual depravity in this industry from sexual favors, sexual parties, and also sexual abuse.
But this is a reality in every industry especialy in the financial world, where he used to work in, it's just that based on the news that has come out, he expects this culture to be more prevalent and open.
An example of this is happening in the party right now
He sees one of the producers flirting with an extra that danced with him in the dance sequence
A voice suddenly comes from the side
"Hey there Tom"
Henry turns his head and sees Zooey
"Summer" He greets her with a smile, Zooey sits beside him.
"Are you excited for your big break?" He teasingly asks
"Oh I don't think like that" she denies
"Oh c'mon you're an actor, you must have already imagined walking down a red carpet with cameras flashing on your face, and fans shouting your name" he vividly describes evoking a sense of wondering in their conversation
"For your information I've walked down a red carpet before and have had my picture taken by reporters" she replies in a matter of fact tone with one eye brow raised
"But have you ever been the pictured because you're wanted and not out pity or politeness?" Henry replies wittingly
That shuts her up and she just shakes her head in defeat
Unbeknownst to Henry in the original timeline Zooey by this time has starred in a few movies as a major character or as the lead though non would be would be significantly successful both critically or financially.
But in this timeline those roles of hers have been taken by other people, this version of Zooey is less successful but ultimately she still regained her role in (500) Days of Summer
And also her role in Yesman starring Jim Carrey that will be released in December of this year
"Your Negroni" the bartender puts down a coaster and places the glass
"Thank you, how much do I owe you?" Henry picks up his drink and takes a sip
"Open bar" the bartender replies and walks off to tend to other people
"You're a cocktail man huh" Zooey reacts to his drink
"Ofcourse, I'm not sadistic" Henry quips
"You're 19 right?" Zooey asks
"Yeah, why do you ask?" Henry cluelessly asks
She snatches his Negroni away from his hand and takes a sip
"It's illegal for you to drink alchohol, this is mine now" Zooey feels victorious
And before Henry could retaliate in any form she changes the subject
"Man can't believe you're not even 20, yet you look like you're in your mid 20s, take care of your skin and don't drink, you'll age more if you don't" she lectures
