"Good morning... what happened?" Amaterasu asked in a weak voice, her eyes surveying her surroundings. When she saw Alice sobbing, her heart shattered further. Alice, usually an unwavering source of happiness, was now crying with deep sorrow.
"Papa, passed away," Alice replied, her voice broken by tears, comforted by Alyssia who hugged her tightly. Alyssia, a creation of God who returned from Valtor's deceased daughter, felt a profound loss of connection. It felt as if something had severed the eternal bond that tied them.
Amaterasu felt her heart as if torn out when she heard the news. Mifuyu, on the other hand, looked pale, shocked and devastated to hear that their husband had truly died.
"Valtor sacrificed his life to resurrect you back, now he died, completely, he's gone. GONE!" Mael roared with deep anger and sorrow, then struck Olympus with a force that made it tremble violently, shaking all of Svarga.
"GOD, PLEASE ANSWER ME, WHY THAT BASTARD IS GONE!" Mael screamed loudly at God, knowing that God always visited and heard everything here, but this time there was no response. Silence and stillness, only emptiness greeted his screams.
Mael's wrath was not only directed at God but also at Valtor. Valtor, who was supposed to be the source of all this sorrow, was the mastermind behind this great sacrifice. Why did he choose to sacrifice his life and sever all existing ties?
Valtor left Svarga, the heaven he yearned for. He also left the Greater Ark, the most advanced civilization surpassing seven multiverses; Yharnam, the holiest place directly connected to God and allowing direct communication; Kalimdor, the workshop he used and now left without its owner; as well as various realms, worlds, and universes he abandoned.
Why? That was the question that flooded the minds of every inhabitant here. What was lacking in them that someone like Valtor felt the need to leave them? Why did he choose to make such a great sacrifice and end all existing relationships?
