Villain Ch 1654. A Perfect View
The drive back into the city was smoother now. No more heavy tension, just that quiet, simmering electricity still hanging under their skins like a secret everyone silently agreed not to name just yet.
Kai drove with his usual perfect calm as Allen sat in the back, Mila and Vivian on either side.
Vivian leaned lightly against the headrest, still feeling that buzzing warmth from earlier.
Mila kept fidgeting with her bag, cheeks pink every time Allen's gaze casually shifted toward her.
Eventually, the black car pulled up in front of the sleek glass building of Urban Enigma.
Allen's eyes flicked to Vivian. "We're here."
Vivian nodded. "Thanks for today." She was smiling, but her heartbeat was still quick underneath.
Mila spoke up quickly. "Actually, I need to get in too. I have to grab my contract copy from Mr. Bell's assistant."
Allen raised a brow, glancing at her. "Alright. I'll wait."
Mila smiled. "I won't be long."
