Chapter 14 - Chapter Fourteen - The Passing Of The Years

I spent all my vacation training. Maybe the agents don't know what vacations are, or maybe Nick was getting revenge for everything she had said to him. I would never know; maybe I should learn to read minds. Could I even learn that?

Those in charge of my training were Hill, May, and Coulson. Or she only knew their names, she still couldn't find Barton or Romanoff. But if training was difficult with the three mentioned, what would it be like with the 5? Better not find out. They taught her self-defense and how to use "her strength", which was non-existent at 6 years old. I already knew a little about self-defense, what I had learned in the other world... but it wasn't the same at all; this was much more complicated.

She leveled up, or something like that, in training. Maybe she shouldn't have done it because it started to get more and more complicated, over time she got used to it and was happy when she had a day off... one that wasn't completely free. After all, it was the day she had to go to her former teachers' wedding, they had bought her a blue dress and she would wear the rings. When they showed her the dress, she thought about running away and arriving after the wedding, but her new mother or "Hill" thought it would be funny to leave her there.

What was Hill doing here? Well, clearly Fury wasn't going to go. So he sent Hill. The two teachers were much more delighted with her than with the director; upon seeing her, it seemed their souls had returned to their bodies after not seeing her "father."

A big laugh appeared when Clary arrived dressed like the girls in Katy Perry's Hot N Cold video, and she also had a basket with petals. Clary seemed very happy with her new family and scolded me for not having gone to "visit" her, a 4-year-old scolding a 6-year-old. A great scene to remember. Fury would miss out on a way to tease her in the future, but that was better, right?

The mass ended, and Elizabeth left with Hill. She had to swallow her laughter when she was told to "say hello to your husband."

- "If you don't tell me, I won't say you're 'Mrs. Fury'." – I told her when we had arrived.

- "Deal" - She responded, and we both entered.

I entered "classes" and gave exams in medicine, since, after all, I already knew it. Technically, she approved everything, but they wouldn't let her "operate or care for the patient" because she looked like she was "the patient." She talked to Strange and accompanied him to the hospital; she only stayed to see his operations and "helped" him when she asked what she could do for some patients. She did that for a year, and Doc didn't seem to mind that she was like "Stephen's number 1 fan," or that's what was said about her.

As that year went by, with training from the organization and seeing operations, she learned a lot. But she couldn't do much else until she was a few years old, so she decided to study other things. She had learned the basics to help "the Avengers" in the future, but decided that she could go a little deeper into some topics.

She spent the next year studying all kinds of things. Fury had let her go to the academy and get information or be in the "classes" of the students there. What was the first thing she did? She looked for Fitz and Simmons, any fan would do it, right? She found them and helped them a little with their studies. At first, they were very suspicious. How could they trust such a little girl? However, when she showed them that she knew about the topics they were talking about, they accepted her. At first she had to look for them separately, she didn't know if they had already met. After she found out that the two were already "friends," she was able to be at peace and get together with both of them.

She was only a "support" for the two of them; she wasn't going to tell them how to do everything or she was going to take away their jobs; it wouldn't make sense. They were very necessary for SHIELD, or would be in a few years. That's why I only saw them once a week. I spent 2007 training, visiting Strange, Leo, and Jemma from time to time. She helped as much as she could by giving Fury information about some events.

She continued with her promise to visit her teachers and their new daughter. At the end of 2007, she had to be "the girl with the rings" again at Melinda's marriage. Whose idea was it? From Hill, of course.

In early 2008, she told Fury where to find Banner. The first time he saw the scientist, it didn't end well. Bruce couldn't handle the stress of the situation and turned into the Hulk. In May, there was going to be a problem with the Terrigen crystals and the "Bahrain rescue," where the nickname that May would hate for a long time would come out.

When they returned from the mission, she tried to tell Melinda that it wasn't her fault and tried to calm her down, but she was already too traumatized by Manama's ordeal. Clearly, she couldn't do anything. Furthermore, every time she saw her, she seemed to remember the girl. She spoke with the new "deputy director of SHIELD," and May was assigned to the "administration" department. A great transfer.

2009 was Tony's kidnapping by the Ten Rings, she knew where he was. But she couldn't say it, he had to go through all that for him to decide to close the "arms sale." And that couldn't be changed. He used all the months that Stark was missing to get a cure for the next "poisoning" that the billionaire would suffer.

They started taking her on undercover missions. Who would doubt a couple with a 10-year-old daughter? Nobody, it was obvious. She began to be more and more useful to the agents. She already knew how to do almost everything, and she had plenty of time to do some "mischief." She made portals to meet more people who would serve in the future. Or, in other words, to meet all the people she had a "crush" on in the movie franchise.

Her favorite inhuman appeared in front of Daisy, the tremor of her life. In those moments, she was still Skye. But she couldn't talk to her much, she just hoped she had made a good first impression.

The next victim was Pepper. She introduced herself as "the child prodigy" and told her what she was studying and the program she had won. In addition to all the "titles" she had. She told her not to lose faith, that Stark was still alive, she knew it... It was true after all. She said goodbye to her, telling her to call her if she "needed help."

She met Romanoff just after the Winter Soldier put a bullet through his abdomen to kill a scientist. She also met Barton that day while performing "Fury-approved surgery" on Natasha. No, the surgery was never approved by him, but he would find out later. It left it almost perfect, I missed operating. She gave herself an internal slap when she realized that she wanted to meet the agents first to know what had "happened in Budapest." Someday, she would find out, or so she hoped.

She continued appearing to more people; the next were Jane, Erik, and Darcy, whom she met the three separately. She promised to help them if they had problems, astrophysics and astronomy. I wasn't the best at what I had studied, but I was going to try. She had a long conversation about the Einstein-Rosen Bridge. And after a few hours, I leave them.

The next ones were Hope and Henry, or Hank as they call him. It was extremely difficult for him to start a conversation with both of them. Maybe they were the most difficult, but I did it.

Eli thought about meeting everyone, but after a while, she realized that when they met, it would be a very bad idea for them to see her. But I couldn't turn back time, right?

Then she remembered the trip to the past, "the docking in time" she already knew what she would dedicate herself to for a while.

When Stark returned, she texted Pepper, "I told you so." She had bought a cell phone the day before she started approaching everyone. Fury never asked her where she was going, and it didn't matter much, right?

She knew perfectly well that she would spend the next few months here, so she dedicated herself to "trying to travel through time." One day, before starting everything, she went to talk to Strange. She asked him what he would do if he could travel through time. He didn't answer her, but she assumed he was thinking about his sister. She told him that he had done "his first operation" and that everything turned out great. When he asked her which hospital they had left her in, she realized what she had said.

- "I guess it was illegal, Stephen." - She said, looking into his eyes.

- "What the hell did you do?" – He asked, laughing – "You can't do things like that just because they won't let you, Elizabeth. Was it a criminal wanted by the police?"

- "Criminal? Wanted by the police?" - Was it something like that? No, right?

- "Tell me it wasn't, please."

- "Well, it doesn't matter. I will dedicate myself to creating a time machine. It will be my new project until they let me enter a hospital."

- "Well, you must do it right, if they knew that what you did was illegal, they would take away a license that you still do not fully possess. Maybe you should go avoid your "first operation"

- "I hate you." - I said and left, leaving him alone.

- "Not me." - He yelled at me.

- "I know, I'm irresistible." - I answered and left.

I spent a few weeks doing experiments, but after a "small" explosion, Nick got angry with me, and I had to go to a "house in my name." The father of the year sent his 10-year-old daughter to live alone. Well, it didn't matter. More privacy for me.

Elizabeth managed to "almost perfectly replicate" the particles made by the first Ant-man, but in the explosion, she had lost all the vials, and she only had 2 left. She started making the machine, and when she finished it, she mentally congratulated herself. It wasn't that smart, and it happened that Bruce had done the same when the "heist" started. Time came to her, not the other way around. I tried to go into the future for about 4 years. The results were that she was about 14 years old... or so she appeared. She left her cell phone to go get a glass of juice and something to eat, but she didn't realize that when she took out the plate she had caused the other jar to fall directly to the floor. The first thing she did was send two messages.

"Paranoid adoptive father" and "Neurosurgeon for the moment." Message: "S.O.S" "Houston, we have a problem."

What would happen from now on would be a big problem.

Well, looking older would help you somewhat, wouldn't it?
