The trip from Aldbeach to Westway took several hours as it was quite a distance from the first island after Bleakbay. Finding a ride wasn't too difficult, and soon they were settled into a much faster boat, the sails caught wind as soon as it left the steaming environs of Aldbeach Island.
They had spent a bit of time on Albeach, so by the time they got to Westway, the sun was setting. Reqiel was already craning his head around as soon as he got off the boat, hoping to catch sight of a celebration going on.
Andras guided him off the pier with a faint smile, "Let's find an inn to spend the night. We can ask around regarding Westway's beach parties after."
Reqiel deflated slightly but easily agreed; he still wore his straw hat, although the sun was almost setting. Unlike Aldbeach, a cool wind blew through Westway Island, nearly knocking his straw hat off.
