She stood at the door, reluctant to go in.
For Norris Moore, this person was the one who had deceived her into complete trust only to plunge her into despair.
Seeing him made her feel wronged and distressed.
The feeling was different from when Charles Green deceived her. She never really felt anything when Charles did, as she didn't naturally feel close to him; Trenton Smith was the one she had given her heart to and who had then deceived her, making her not want to see him, making her feel foolish.
In fact, she hadn't spent as much time with Trenton as with Charles; they weren't that familiar, so why did she trust him so much?
Was it merely because he fit her aesthetic taste?
Trenton Smith looked at Norris's eyes, red and filled with a stubborn grievance in the camera. She stood at the door, unwilling to come closer for him to see clearly.
He sighed softly and called out to her, "Norris."
Norris Moore couldn't help but look up at him.
