James Carter looked slightly surprised upon seeing William King entering the door, "Are you looking for me?"
After asking that, James Carter shook his head, "No, that's not right. You wouldn't come here to find me. I haven't told anyone I'd be here tonight. Are you here looking for Jillian?"
"I was actually planning to find Miss Carter, but since Auntie and you are here, it makes no difference," William King glanced at the three sets of tableware on the table. Although he didn't see Jillian Carter, he guessed that she must still be at home, considering her car was parked in the courtyard.
"Have a seat," James Carter stood up with his cane and asked, "Have you eaten? If not, I'll ask Auntie to add another set of tableware."
"No need, I'm not in the mood to eat; can't stomach it, especially since this is Miss Carter's dinner," William King waved his hand and sat down on the sofa.
