The morning sun peeked through the windows, casting a warm glow in the packhouse. As the pack members gathered for breakfast, anticipation filled the air. Devon couldn't wait to share the news of his decision with Olivia, but little did he know that Candice and Susan had other plans.
Susan rushed to find Candice, a look of urgency on her face. "Candice, we have a problem," she said breathlessly. "Our plan might be delayed, and we can't let Devon tell Olivia the good news yet."
Candice's eyes widened, realizing the significance of the situation. If Devon told Olivia about his decision before they had a chance to execute their plan, all their efforts would be in vain. She nodded, determination shining in her eyes. "I'll make sure Devon doesn't have a chance to speak to Olivia," she said firmly. "We can't let our plans be ruined."
