"I think the proposal for the collaboration with Zhongyun still needs some modifications. What do you think?" Bai Xue asked with her head down. After a while, she noticed that no response was given, she looked up to see the usually attentive Gongze Yu furrowing his brows, deep in thought.
Bai Xue had noticed such expressions on Gongze Yu's face quite often these days.
"What's wrong with you?" she asked.
"Huh?" Gongze Yu lifted his head, looking bewildered, unsure of what she had just said.
"I asked you what's wrong. Is there anything troubling you?"
"Nothing."
"Gongze Yu, we are friends. If there's something you can't handle on your own, just tell me. Perhaps we could figure out a solution together." Bai Xue wanted to help alleviate his worries.
Gongze Yu looked at her, moved beyond words.
Ever since he was a child, she had been the only one willing to help him!
