Roman and Yuri sat, staring at Nikolai who sat on the opposite side of the table, gripping the cup of coffee he held.
It was still early in the afternoon and they weren't sure what the hell was wrong with him.
"Nikolai, did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed or what?" Roman asked.
He didn't respond.
Yuri raised a brow. "You've been like this for a week now. Frowning for no reason and avoiding us. Then you give me that nasty look you think I don't notice. What is wrong with you—"
"What is wrong with me?" Nikolai slammed his hands on the desk. He stared at the two, parted his lips to talk, but then decided against it and instead stood to his feet.
He stormed off, abandoning his coffee.
Roman followed him, grabbing his arm. "What is going on with you?"
Nikolai flashed him a look. "What is going on with me?"
"Yes, what's going on with you? You've been acting weird. You get angry when you see either Yuri or me. Of course, we want to know what's going on with you."
