Everything was quiet.
Way too quiet.
It wasn't supposed to be like this.
There was no pain. Nothing to smell or sense.
It was as if the fathers had finally listened.
'I guess this is the afterlife, huh?' she thought to herself as she struggled to move, but there was nothing.
She couldn't feel her body.
She couldn't move, not by the slightest inch.
Her body felt trapped, and yet it was as if nothing was holding her back anymore.

"We should dig a new hole for her."
"If she dies… won't that make us murderers too?"

"No. No… No!!!!" Kiyomi screamed, her voice snapping her back to the world of the living like she had long taken a detour and was now being reminded of the worst of shit that she had to deal with again.
The fact that she had made an admission, a final death wish, was haunting her.
