[KIYOMI]
"You're awake and bossy," an amused voice said.
Kiyomi stiffened.
"You… here?" Kiyomi asked as she took in the sight before her.
It was as if life was slowly coming back to her and she was stuck in some reality that was still not making any sense. Honestly with what she was seeing right now, none of this was making sense to her. She did not understand anything at all.
"And here I thought you would give me a hug when you woke up," the voice added, and Kiyomi just stared. Like, this was a whole new lifetime. Like the realm was rudely the worst palace for her to be in, and yet the best of places.
She didn't know what to feel or even think of this. She didn't know how she was supposed to react to this because, frankly the unexpected stance was obvious.
Kiyomi stared at her bedside table, ready to place the bowl she had been holding on her side, but when she looked at her hands, there was nothing.
Not a tray of food.
Not a bowl of food.
