Seeing her weapon shatter against Will's guard, Vestaahl's eyes widened, her glowing, white, x-shaped pupils dilating in disbelief. At the same time, Ohta launched a flying kick aimed at her face, compelling Vestaahl to take evasive action, her right foot creating a foothold in the air that allowed her to shift ten meters to Will's right in an instant.
'This day has been one thing after another...' thought Will, clenching and relaxing the muscles in his jaw as he observed Ohta go on the offensive against Vestaahl. Her speed and agility weren't far behind the pink-furred Warchief's, but she was used to fighting on the ground or in environments where she could bounce off of buildings and terrain. Vestaahl had a clear advantage in the air, so much so that she could evade Ohta's attacks with room to spare while stealing cautious glances his way.
