I didn't even remember how I returned back home but for the two days, I couldn't recover from the shock after realising that the lady that Davian kept speaking about so dreamily and the lady I'd been trying to learn about—the one who'd somehow tamed Davian—was me all along.
I'm sure the ones who would know would be rolling all over laughing at my ignorance and stupidity. Especially Roan—he'd never let me live it down
