"Open up little kid!" The guards demanded as they heavily knocked down the door, bordering the verge of breaking it open. Seeing the lack of response, they chose to take matters into their own hands as they forcefully barged in.
Looking around, their eyes landed on a small figure, her expression eager and smug as she glanced at her visitors. "You are obliged to come with us little child. Any form of resistance will not be tolerated." Inur mused as his men approached her.
"I want to play a game. Will you play with me?" Bursting out into mischievous giggles, her right arm gave off a strange blue glow. The guards halted their advances as they quickly set up a barrier around themselves. Inur took the initiative, his body coated with mana.
"We don't have the time to play games with you! Just come with us and don't ask questions!" Anger present on his face as he approached her regardless. The strange light failed to give any form of threat to him however that didn't mean that he would be careless.
'Who knows what tricks that human would have gifted this little child. But sensing that she is a child, it's clear that she's dependent on an artifact to use it and even if she was awakened, then no higher than the first tier.'
Without warning, a plasmic arrow sot form her hand as she flicked her wrist with ease. A look of disbelief washed up on Inur's face as he realized what had transpired.
*Thud*
Inur's body falling onto the floor, lifeless as the sizzling of flesh could be heard and taking a closer look, a gaping hole could be seen in his head. The rest of the guards grew weary as they increased their fortifications.
The arrow retreated back into her hand as if nothing had happened. "What was that you little shit?! Answer me!" Inur's direct surbodinate questioned however he was answered back with cute and light chuckles.
"Come on and let's play. I've been so bored." This time, she formed a whip which she shot across the room, some of the guards capable of dodging it while others weren't as lucky. The sounds of flesh burning, the scream reigning and the fear that started to settle in the room made the entire scene horrifying.
Those who were lucky as to not have been struck by it tried to tend to those in pain. Their groans spine chilling as Shyla watched the whole show with delight and satisfaction. "Sir, these injuries will take time to heal and we don't have the resources here. It would be better if we retreat for now and co-"
*Splat*
The head of the one conversing was shot down by an arrow, ending his life on the spot as bits of his cranium bursting out in all directions, his blood splurting from his corpse. The right hand realized the lingering threat present decided to retreat.
And along with him so did the rest of the guards however how was the bored little miss simply let them walk away. Making a break for the door, the guards realized the plasmic bars that prevented them from escaping their hell hole.
"I can't use mana against this and any physical material melts upon contact. We're trapped here." Fear, anger, despair and resentment could be seen etched on their faces.
*Boom*
"We're still not done playing!" Her taunts everytime coming off as nightmarish than the last. At first, they all thought that she was delusional but as time went on, they came to the harsh realization that it was them who were the helpless ones.
"Zephie allowed me to get a little messy so at least you all get to see my artistic genius." Her tone filled with cheeky laughs as more plasmic bars formed around the room encasing it like a box except the floor.
The bars were razor thin however their purple blue hazy color made them easy to see. Crushing her hand, the bars started to draw in closer and along with it, destroying the room that they were all in. The guards immediately got away from the walls and made their way to the center.
"That's it!" One of the guards shouted as he drew his bow and shot it at Shyla however the result was the same. The arrow found itself embedded in her skull however rather than blood or at the very least showing any form of pain, the tip of the arrow burnt off and fell into her hand to which she burnt it out of existence.
Given that she was at the end of the room, the bars melded into her figure before phasing out of it leaving the knights completely alone in the middle of the room. A complete death trap as they could only watch their deaths.
"I didn't think that I would meet my end at the hands of a child!" One exclaimed. "Child?! That is a monster that must be eradicated from our lands!" Another added on as they watched the bars draw in closer.
As an example as to what fate awaited them, the corpse of Inur was permeated with the bars, easily torn through as if cutting through air leaving nothing, not even remains given how compact the bars were.
The guards were forced to go on their knees before having their backs on the floor. To Shyla, she saw them like cockroaches lying on the ground as the bars on the ceiling too failed to deal any damage to her.
"I would rather claim my own life rather than wait for my death!" Without warning, one if them condensed their mana essence into their mana disc core ina sudden burst which slowly started to crush it and with a small explosion, his mana disc core shattered rupturing his heart and ending his life.
Some of them glanced at each other as if waiting for a signal and one was given. "Aaarghh!!!" The screams of one diced up by the bars made them reconsider and opt for the easy way out. But it wasn't painless either given that they would have to endure the pain of having their own hearts ruptured.
However weighing the pros and cons, such a fate was way better than having their bodies slowly chopped up. In a matter of time, some of them had chosen to take their own life while others refrained themselves, fearing the experience as a whole.
Sure with their hearts gone, they would pass away shortly after however some of them weren't as lucky given the bars caught up to them and had to experience the mind shattering pain of both experiences.
A few minutes later and Shyla was left with an empty room given that similar to the guards, so did everything else burn away with the plasmic bars. "That was fun but now I'm bored. Hopefully Zephie won't take long."
She mused as she glanced out the window, the sight of humans dropping like flies clouding her vision. The demonic aura that had been covering the entire kingdom seemed to grow more potent as even those indoors seem afflicted with the dense corrupted mana.
...
"Hup!" Farley made her advances towards the devil that refused to die. Her movements quick and rapid, capable of dicing anything and anyone she came across as her aura spiralled out of control. The royal family at this point we're barely holding onto their dear lives.
"Don't think so little of me!" In a burst of dense corrupted mana, her entire figure was now a being cloaked in pure darkness as of some deity that had descended from the heavens to judge the mortal world.
Her movements increasing exponentially making the experience for the humans both in the castle and out a complete hell. At this point, she had completely given up on restraining herself seeing how Hedon was making a joke out of her thus she opted to release her full power.
Her figure floated majestically in the air as she looked down at Hedon. "You may be skilled however even you will face your demise." One hand raised above her head suspending a dark orb that grew bigger and bigger by the minute. "Please, do you think that you can even come close to what I'm capable of? What a joke!"
His tone full of satire as he kept on watching the entire scene unfold. Sure the royal family was going to die due to the exposure of such dense corrupted mana however to him, they were nothing more than an after thought. "Your ego will be the end of you demon."
However despite her skills, she fell short of Hedon given that he not only able to dodge her attacks but also make light slaps on her cheek which overtime infuriated her however as time passed, she realized how hopeless it was.
Clear that she was tired of his cocky demeanor given that he was watching her launch her attack rather than stop her at the very least. Ordering the condensed ball of corrupted mana down on his figure, Hedon watched the dark orb approach his figure.
*Boom*
The sky was perpetuated into pure darkness as clouds plagued the entire sky making it all come off as armageddon. Shyla who was looking at the castle gave a light yawn as she saw it all as the ear piercing screeching sound of mana colliding with the world could be heard.
Similar to a bomb, the entire castle was completely wiped from it's bearings ensuring that there were no survivors whatsoever. Farley hovered above it all, her figure seen by the people of Galespire before she made her descent.
She couldn't sense his figure regardless of how hard she tried. "You underestimated me demon." Her voice coming off in light pants as she glanced at where Hedon was.
Looking around, a distasteful expression washed on her face. The castle was in ruin, the royal family was dead and the majority of the people were either corrupted by her mana or affected by the blast. Recuperating would take months if not years to do.
'I didn't think that such a stray demon would pose such a threat. As for Galespire, he won't be pleased coming back to see this.' Giving off a light sigh, she was about to take her leave however her body tensed upon hearing a faint whisper next to her ear.
"You really shouldn't have an attack that takes an eternity to release. I could have killed you at any point. As for your disguise, don't you think that it's about time you got rid of it." Hedon's breathe warm that brushed on her neck, his hands resting on her waist.
Her reflexes kicking in, she wielded her rapier and with a quick slash, she managed to cut his head clean off his body leaving a streak of black blood and a soft thud following suit.
She hastily backed away from his body, a smug look plastered on her face. "Your hubris was the death of you demon." Holding her laugh, she couldn't help but ensure that his death was certain as she lit his corpse on fire and a few minutes later, there was nothing left.
"I didn't think that you would be so hostile Farley." Halting her movements, she looked behind her and as if back from the dead, his figure completely unscathed. Her mind in shambles as to how he was capable of enacting such a feat.
*Whoosh*
In a flash, his appearance manifested right in front of her however unlike last time, she felt as if her body was suspended by strings similar to a marionette. She felt his light touch brush across her skin as he admired her beauty before retracting his hand.
With a simple gesture of his hands, her appearance faltered from having jade green eyes shifting to that of a dark pink color. Her jet black hair turning white with a pink hue at the end tips, now donned in a rich dark purple clothing.
"See Farley, it wasn't that bad. Or do you wish for me to call you by your actual name." And with that, he backed up to admire her beauty still frozen in her own body.
