"Snape killed Andy!?"
After obtaining Andy's 'testimony', the crowd immediately clamoured and argued, especially the Gryffindor students led by Harry, who almost instantly believed Andy's claim.
Since Harry had not received Snape's memories as in the original story and his character was not as mature as it would have been later, Harry still harboured some prejudice against Snape, even though Snape had participated in the battle against Voldemort.

"Mr Collins, what in the world…"
Professor McGonagall pushed her way through the crowd, her eyes filled with shock and anxiety as she looked at Andy.
She couldn't believe that Snape would kill Andy.
But Andy had indeed turned into a ghost.
There was no way to fake this!
"What's going on?" Professor McGonagall asked.
Hermione also asked disbelievingly, "Andy, are you..."
Hermione knew about Andy's relationship with Snape.
She knew Andy trusted Snape very much.
Therefore, Hermione felt that Andy was most likely turned into a ghost because of a failed magic experiment.
Just this morning, Andy enthusiastically told her that he had made a major breakthrough in magic.
Now it was only noon, and Andy had turned into a ghost.
This was obviously a case of self-inflicted death!
Just then, the other professors hurried over as well.
Sirius looked anxious, Professor Flitwick's short legs were moving at a fast pace, and Professor Trelawney kept saying things like, "I told you there would be blood this year, Collins!"
Andy: "..."

Andy took a deep breath.

"He became a ghost and then came back to life."
"This is definitely tomorrow's top story!"
As he spoke, Andy suddenly let out a sigh.
Forget it!
There's no avoiding it, whether he sticks his neck out or not.
Since there was no escaping it, he might as well face it bravely!
With this thought, Andy slowly made his way to the Great Hall.
No one had left the Great Hall, and there were even more people there.
"Hi! Good afternoon!"

"Mr Collins, what is the meaning of this?"
At that moment, Professor McGonagall looked at Andy with blazing eyes like a furious lion.
She had already spoken with Hermione and knew the whole story.
Andy was experimenting with some kind of magic.
Could this magic turn Andy into a ghost?

It should be a separation of the soul from the body?

Andy was indeed in a ghost form, rather than the soul leaving the body.
Professor McGonagall would never mistake the two!

Andy mused.
"I just wanted to prank Harry! Professor McGonagall, it was Harry who made a big deal of it."
