Shibuya was infamous for its wild and impulsive nightlife, where all of Japan's top syndicate groups gathered to relieve their loneliness. Amid the chaos, the centre of Shibuya was the all-in-one well-known :
Akiyama's Night Club.
Tokyo's most untamed market for illegal drug and firearm trading.
Japan was, and honestly, has always been, a lawless, disordered mess underneath all of its attempts to appear united.
The world itself was masked by layers upon layers of lies to hide itself from the corruption and control that crime organisations leveraged. Below the surface of the law and justice system that the government established for "regular civilians" was a messed up society of crime syndicates and monstrous bastards manipulating nightlife.
Just like the government, this society has a hierarchy, and naturally, a leader who withholds the power to harmonise all the "low lives" together, and is referred to as The Ruler of Night.
The name of this ruler and his men can strike fear into any man who walks on the night street of Tokyo and all of Japan.
This is the man who's currently leading the largest crime syndicate group in Japan and the top 50 in the world.
The Akiyama's Group Leader is known for his unpredictably vindictive and cruel nature, a man who knew no love and had no heart.
One that has the power to destroy just about anything he pleases with a snap. He is THE fear upon Akiyama Akira.
"That's how they described me??" The man raised one of his eyebrows in stupor confusion.
"Well, apparently," Katsumi chuckled, "they're not wrong though, lol," and dropped himself onto the large purple couch.
"They were soft with the description there." Even Katsuya agreed.
"Hah?" Akira groaned. He rested his head against the sofa, contemplating if he was really that barbaric.
After all, they did "save" Japan.
Before the Akiyama group, the entirety of Japan was an insane mess that airlines had to shut down to prevent tourists and visitors due to the bloodshed and assault that swarmed the streets.
The government couldn't take care of it, pointing fingers here and there without truly comprehending the truth of anything.
The truth that these bastards were overflowing the cities, the truth that the police were beyond corrupted, the truth that the country needed a whole new system, a leader, someone who could bring these mindless low-lives together, find a common ground or both worlds to co-exist.
The world was a mess, and everyone was dying. Orphanages are crowded with new parentless children. They were, at one point, treated like farm animals due to the lack of space and corruption that bustled around.
Both Akira and the Kimura brothers met the same fate, they were congested out of their orphanage and ended up roaming the dirty streets of Shibuya for months before, upon many coincidences, striking across each other and ending up becoming entangled for lives.
They swore to be brothers and to restore the peace of Japan to the best of their ability. Long story short, the lore of how the Akiyama group came to be was one of those heart-wrenching inspirational sob stories that we've all come across.
These bastards were legends, beloved yet also extremely hated mythical "heroes" that "healed" Japan and made it what it is today.

Katsumi: "No but Kira, ya should start hookin' up with sum bitches, before you gonna make them call us a bunch of rascal fuckin' each other."
Akira: "Katsumi, Jesus, mind the damn language."
Katsuya: "One girl bitch you off, and now you gonna call 'em all bitches? That's pathetic as fuck."
"OI!-" Before Katsumi could fight back, he was cut off.
"And also, who's all of us," Akira stood up and wrapped his arm around Katsuya's shoulders, "our lovely brother here's getting on the aisle soon, ain't he?"
"You all mfkers just bullyin me!" Katsumi rustled his hair in frustration, "and even god can't make me believe Kazu's gettin' married before any of us."
"For the record, this bastard's only marrying cuz he got the girl pregnant," Akira shrugged, "That shit scared the hell outta me, ugh." He shook his head at the thought of being a father.
"Nah, I loved her." Katsuya spelled it out; their love was no accident. Well, the child was, but he was not about to just sleep with any woman, "the kid's name's gonna be Kiryu."
"Kimura Kiryu, huh?" Katsumi chugged down the shot of vodka, "that's nice."
Akira: "We'd be uncles then. Look how time flies"
"Ah, and none of y'all are meeting him." Katsuya sat himself down.
"Huh?"
"What?"
They both looked confused, "what do you mean by that?"
"I want my kids to have a normal life." He looked down, "This shit is fucked up. I don't want my kids anywhere near it."
Silence weighed the space for a moment.
"Well, he's got a point." Katsumi sighed.
"…"

Outside the bustling Akiyama nightclub lined a few expensive-looking limousines. As the Akiyama trio exits the bar, groups of men in black suits fringe the entrance with their bodies bended down, showing respect to the leaders.
"Well then, I still have some business in Asakusa to settle, gonna go~" Katsumi, with that usual cocky facial expression, waved.
As he approached one of the limousines, a man in a suit opened the car's door, keeping his head low while his superior stepped in.
"What's even there to care in that deserted district, just leave it to one of the overseers." Katsuya rolled his eyes. "Oi." He noticed how spaced out Akira had been since just now, "what's up? Ya mad about not getting to see your future nephew or sum?"
"…" Akira let out a long sigh. "Nah, I just want everyone safe." He looked at Katsuya, "You should go back to Emi, imma head back to the headquarters." Akira gave his brother a few shoulder pats on the back before having the car drive off.
"One unpredictable asshole he is."

Inside the luxurious car sat the man of power. A sense of helplessness swelled over him, over the fact that none of them might ever have a normal life. He is the authority; he have all the power in the world, yet it feels as if he can't do anything. The three of them survived long enough to understand this fucked up world of syndicates. Battles on the daily, especially when you're on top. Assassins and threats are after them every breathing second, praying for their downfall as they fight to maintain the peace of Japan.
"Hah…" he once again let out his third long sigh for the day, "Kiryu huh..?" Palm sheathing his pathetic eyes, how are they going to protect these new lives? Even though Katsuya never said it out loud, they all knew how afraid he was, putting his very own child at threat. Furthermore, they all grew up being orphans, they knew what it was like to leave their children behind, what if they all end up dead-
His thoughts were disrupted by what seemed to be a gleam of unexpected light.
*BANG!* a huge collision recoiled mid of an empty road. "Ugh…." Streams of blood dripped down the side of his face; he can feel the safety cushion from both sides, alleviating the crazy crash. He can hear ringings and feel the wetness of blood overflowing the vehicles, as well as shards of glass piercing his calf. "Fuck…" the man groaned as he used all his strength to press the emergency button on his smartwatch.
Man 1: "Is he still alive?" Akira can hear the distance conversation outside the crushed vehicle.
Man 2: "well, you better fuckin check before the boss blew both our brains off"
The sound of them pulling the collapsed door and ripping the safety bag away echoed.
Man 1: fuck! All these glass and blood, it's all dark, can't see if he's dead or not.
Man 2: you stupid? Pull him the fuck out, then!
"Ugh," one of the men groaned heavily as he pulled the blooded body out of the car, half way pulling *thud!* a harsh punch landed across his face, throwing him onto the ground. Still limping, Akira use the crushed car as support to keep himself standing.
He reached into his back pocket, wanting to pull out a gun, but just then, a bullet landed right on his left shoulder. "AGH!" He growled in pain, dropping onto the ground entirely, "MOTHERFUCKING HELL!!" A deranged smile crept onto his face, "I…haven't chewed on a bullet in so long…" Barely breathing, he grunted, "Haha…you piece of dog shit you are so fucking dead…"
Man 2: S-SHUT UP!*BANG!* the man fired another load at Akira, landing it right below his chest a little. He could tell that the dog was aiming for his heart.
"UGh-" getting used to the pain, this time Akira made less noise, "you bastard…" He tried to stand up once more, clenching his muscles, and breathing deeply to slow down the blood loss.
"FBI HANDS UP!" It was an airy voice coming from behind the shooters, she was pointing a gun directly at the back of their heads.
Akira raised his battled head to get a sight of this person. That was an unexpected voice, and to his surprise, or not, it seemed to be a female police officer. Now that's interesting. He felt slightly amused. No police ever cross the night street, let alone THIS night street, where all fucks in the country gathered. And a lady at that?
"I REPEAT! HANDS UP, DROP THE GUN." The police officer loaded her gun loudly.
Before anyone could move an inch extra, the insanely ear-disrupting sound of machine guns busted through the street. The bustling noise of cars and motorcycles rushed in their direction. As the street brightened up from the light of all the approaching vehicles, Akira's spine-shaking, ear-to-ear grin became more visible, "haha..".
The two men felt their souls leaving their bodies, the screams of the Akiyama's death alarm was getting closer. They dropped everything and make an attempt to run for their lives.
"STOP! I SAID FREEZE!"*BANG!* The police officer shot into the sky, she tried to send out a warning. It did not work.
Well tbh, she clearly didn't have the gut to shoot anyone. For scums of the syndicate world, sensing bloodlust was the first skill they acquired to survive.
Once again, Akira could not understand what is this unfitting lady doing here.
"Might I must say, police are especially useless here you see." Akira mocked with a smirk, "You think its the gun that they fear? We eat bullets for breakfast, missy."
"…" her silence was loud. Lips parted, hands shaky, of course, she knew that much.
In the meantime, the two assaulters could not have run anywhere with the cars and motorcycles rounding them up, blocking either end of the street. Machine gunning got louder.
"AH FUCK NO! NO PLEASE!" they dropped to the ground and began to wail.
*VRROOOOMM* *SQQUEEAKKKS* Katsuya stepped down from the smoking motorcycle, "Oi Kira you alright there?" He yanked off the bulky helmet.
*SQUEAAAAKSSS* all other vehicles arrived. Hundreds of men in suits rushed down, forming a circle around the whole scene with their guns pointing at everyone within the circle, except their injured ruler.
"Only two??? LMFAO which coward sent these amateurs' asses after you Kira HAHAHA that's hella humiliating!!" Katsumi strolled toward the bleeding man.
"Shut it Tsumi." Akira chuckled, finding it just as hilarious.
"Pftt ya okay brother?" Tsumi tried to provide support for Akira to stand up straight.
As Akira drooped half of his body weight onto Katsumi, "yea sure am…" He responded with an amused tone of voice. He quickly ran his arm to the back pocket and pulled out a classic loaded pistol and knife, "hahaha…" still with that deranged chuckles, Akira limped himself up, towards the man who just shot him, "but they will probably not."
"NO NO NO PLEASE PLEASE-"
*BANG BANG!* two bullets land straight onto both shoulders, "AHHHHHHH!" The man squirmed on the ground in pain, Akira sat himself onto the the guy's body.
"Ahh shit, here we go again." Katsumi smirked and leaned back onto the car behind, displaying a relaxed posture.
"They had it coming." Katsuya sighed, crossing his arms then turned away.
"Haha.." Pulling out the knife, Akira sent a painful stab onto the fingers of his attacker.
"AHHHHH AHHHHHH AGHHHHHHH"
The police officer's eyes widen in disbelief, she let out a soft gasp.
"Did you know…?" Still smiling, Akira continued, "The fingertips and forehead are the most sensitive to pain…." He pulled out another knife from his back pocket.
"AHHHH! AHHHHHHHH AHH PLEASE NO IM BEGGIN PLEASE-" The man seemed to be in so much pain he started coughing vomits.
"Hahaha, too bad, I am one petty man you see-" Before he could land another stab *clack* the police lady dropped her gun and a heavy force pushed Akira down the ground.
"YOU'RE GONNA KILL HIM" she leaped, pinning the deranged man against the cold concrete.
*clack clack clack* all the machine guns surrounding them loaded up, aiming directly at her. Akira softly signals for them to pause.
Right on top of him right now is a lady, who had the gut to push him. He could just kill her, like right now.
He can finally see her face. It was too dim to see anything from a distance. Well, he must say, that is the face of someone who does not belong to the night streets.
Dark brown hazelnut hair neatly bun to the back of her head, she had snow white bright skin and sparkly brown eyes. That pair of eyes though, widened in fear and confusion, he wondered if they were sparkling from her tears.
