Richard suddenly paused in his tracks.

Almost instantly, he felt his mana begin to drain rapidly, forcing him to stop.
He staggered a step back, his face pale.

The Mind Demon took seat in his soul and his mana began to quickly replenish.
'That's odd. There was no change in what I saw, but my mana still drained quickly.'
He frowned. Something was definitely wrong here.
