Chapter 701 - Are You Playing House?

Scarlet blood splattered everywhere, severed limbs flew through the air.

A massive head spun amidst the shower of blood, soaring skyward before crashing heavily onto the ground with a loud thud. It bounced a few times and rolled to a stop at Kaguya's feet, its wide, terrified eyes staring in eternal disbelief.

Kaguya's gaze was icy. She extended her tongue to lick the blood from the corner of her lips, then gave a mocking smile. "When you were slaughtering others, did it ever occur to you that one day you'd be on the receiving end? What ugly creatures you are."

The auction house had become a blood-soaked battlefield. Dismembered limbs and headless corpses littered the floor. Blood had dyed the venue red, and the air reeked with a thick, nauseating stench of iron and decay.

"Don't kill me! Please, don't kill me!" The white-haired old man who had earlier been chatting so lecherously about young girls now stared in terror, crawling backward as he pleaded. A chair blocked his retreat.

"Didn't you like pretty girls?" Kaguya said with a cruel smile. "Then I'll let you keep them company in hell. How's that sound?"

"No, please! Don't kill me! I'll give you money—all of it! Just please, spare me!" the old man begged, his face pale as a sheet.

"Did you ever spare those who begged you for their lives?" Kaguya sneered. "You must pay for the sins you've committed. So be a good boy and die."

"No! Please, no—"

Slash!

Another burst of blood. Another ugly head spiraled through the air.

Bonney stood frozen, eyes wide in disbelief. She could hardly believe what she was witnessing. Was this really the same delicate-looking girl she had been traveling with?

If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, she would never have believed it. The bloodthirsty, merciless aura Kaguya now radiated was bone-chilling.

Suddenly, Kaguya turned and wiped the blood from her cheek. Her cold gaze flicked to Bonney, who involuntarily stepped back, a wary look flashing across her face.

"Who dares to cause a scene in my place?"

A voice filled with fury echoed through the now-empty auction hall. Then, with a crash of shattering glass, a figure burst through the ceiling and landed on the floor.

Wearing red-tinted, leaf-shaped glasses and a crimson feathered coat, the man was none other than Donquixote Doflamingo.

"So, you finally decided to show yourself?" Kaguya turned and said coldly.

"You dare wreak havoc in my auction house?" Doflamingo growled, trying to suppress his anger. "Who the hell are you?"

"A mere nobody like you doesn't deserve to know my name," Kaguya replied disdainfully.

"Then die."

Doflamingo's veins bulged with fury. He stomped forward, appearing in front of her in a blink, arm raised high, fingers gleaming with deadly intent.

"Overheat!"

Five nearly invisible threads shot out from his fingers, cutting through the air like lightning.

Just as the threads were about to reach her, Kaguya lifted her head and sneered. "Doflamingo, it looks like you haven't improved one bit over the years."

What?

Doflamingo's eyes narrowed.

Kaguya whispered, "Wind King's Barrier."

As soon as she finished speaking, a powerful whirlwind rose from beneath Kaguya's feet, spinning into a transparent barrier. Fierce gales erupted outward in every direction.

Clang!

A sharp sound rang out as Doflamingo's fingers slammed into the Wind King's Barrier. But despite his power, the raging wind held firm—he could go no further.

"With such a pitiful level of strength, you call yourself a Shichibukai?" Kaguya sneered. "No wonder the Navy keeps getting weaker."

A trace of fury crossed Doflamingo's face. He spoke through clenched teeth, "You're asking for death."

He suddenly leapt backward and stretched his hand behind him. Dozens of nearly invisible threads sprayed from his palm. The threads twisted together, forming a thick strand. With a sudden whip of his arm, they shaped into a sharp spear that launched toward Kaguya like lightning.

Boom!

The thread spear struck the wall with a deafening crash. The impact shattered it completely, spraying debris everywhere. The surface where the spear hit was clean and smooth, as though it had been sliced by a mirror.

Dust and rubble filled the air.

"Are you playing house or something?"

A sweet and melodious voice rang out from behind.

She's fast!

Doflamingo was stunned. He quickly turned around—and was met by a massive black beam of light roaring toward him.

"Excalibur."

BOOM!

A deafening explosion rocked the auction house. Rocks shattered, wood splintered, and Doflamingo was sent flying like he had been hit by a train. With another massive crash, he smashed into the distant stage, which collapsed into rubble.

Cough, cough!

Blood sprayed from Doflamingo's mouth. As he raised his head, his pupils shrank sharply.

Such terrifying power!

If he hadn't used Spider's Web Wall to absorb part of the blow, he'd already be severely wounded.

Even so, he wasn't in good shape. The violent blast had torn through his internal organs, and it would take time for him to recover.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Footsteps echoed crisply as Kaguya approached, looking down on him with a cold, superior gaze. "Are you playing a child's game or something?"

"Don't get cocky. I'll tear you to pieces!"

Doflamingo roared, veins bulging on his forehead. He suddenly burst forth, unleashing a tremendous power. The ground and surrounding area turned into a web of white threads.

The threads surged like a raging sea, converging into a giant wave, crashing down toward Kaguya like a tsunami.

This was Doflamingo's awakened ability—Ever White: Break White.

Boom!

The tsunami of threads slammed into the ground. The floor shattered instantly, rocks exploding and debris flying everywhere, filling the air with dust.

A figure leapt from the cloud of dust—completely unharmed.

"You think you can escape that easily? How naive." Doflamingo sneered and slashed his five fingers. "Ever White: Billow White."

As his words fell, not only the ground but the entire auction hall crumbled and dissolved into countless white threads. Everything turned white, like a snowy wasteland.

The threads writhed like they were alive, gathering together into a massive tidal wave of white silk that surged toward Kaguya.

Despite the sudden, overwhelming wave of thread, Kaguya remained calm. Coldly, she said, "Looks like you haven't learned your lesson. Let me teach you properly."

She gripped her black-and-red sword tightly. A jet-black aura, dark as night, surged from the blade and spread out in rings, carrying with it a soul-crushing, immense power that now burst forth like a broken dam.

"Mana Burst."

With those words, she swung her sword hard. A jet-black sword beam tore through the air, erupting like a massive black pillar entwined in lightning, blasting forward with unstoppable momentum.

Doflamingo's pupils shrank. He could feel the overwhelming power from the attack—it was as if it had come from the depths of hell. The aura alone was enough to make him tremble.

What kind of power is this?

He reacted instantly. The white threads surged upward, and new threads emerged from the ground, weaving into a thick white shield before him.

"Shield White."

Doflamingo's mouth curled into a mocking smile. "You fool. You think someone like you is qualified to teach me a lesson? Stop being so arrogant."

"Is that so?" Kaguya said coldly. "Do you think hiding in a turtle shell means I can't touch you?"

The black sword beam suddenly doubled in size. It now looked like a giant pillar piercing the heavens and blasted forward even faster.

"Excalibur."

Doflamingo's eyes widened.

Impossible!

BOOM!

A deafening roar tore through the sky. The ground shattered, walls were ripped apart, and the entire auction house was annihilated.

A figure shot out from the cloud of debris. As he stared at the ruins of the auction hall, fear flickered in his heart.

Just now, he had used Shield White, his strongest defense, and it had crumbled under her attack.

Luckily, at the last moment, he used Sky Path to escape. Otherwise, he would be done for.

But then—

A soft yet chillingly sweet voice suddenly whispered into his ear, sending a shiver down his spine.

"Found you."

Doflamingo spun around in panic, his pupils shrinking sharply. He didn't know when, but Kaguya had appeared behind him like a ghost.

"There's nothing in the world that one Excalibur can't solve," Kaguya said with a cruel smile. "If there is... then two."

"Excalibur."

A dazzling beam of light tore through the sky.

BOOM!

A figure was blown away like a broken toe, flung through the raging storm, and slammed violently into a nearby wall. A deep crater opened where he struck, and with a sickening thud, he coughed up a mouthful of blood.

He was covered in wounds, his clothes torn and soaked in blood, like he'd been scorched by fire. A foul, burnt smell clung to him. One arm twisted unnaturally, with bone piercing through the torn flesh—his condition was miserable beyond words.

At that moment, a pair of slender legs entered his blurry vision. Alarmed, he struggled to rise, but before he could, a foot pressed firmly on his head, pinning him into the dirt.

"Doflamingo, I really overestimated you," Kaguya said, looking down on him coldly. "I thought you might be capable of more. Turns out, you're completely useless. How disappointing."

"Damn it..." Doflamingo gritted his teeth and struggled, but the foot that looked delicate weighed as heavy as a mountain. No matter how he fought, he couldn't lift his head.

"What, still trying to resist?" Kaguya stomped hard. The ground cracked beneath them, and Doflamingo's face was shoved into the soil.

"Who... are you?" Doflamingo roared, his voice muffled by the dirt.

"Who am I?" Kaguya sneered. "Doflamingo, do you still not understand who you've offended?"

Offended?

Doflamingo froze, stunned, and stopped moving.

"You stupid fool. Did you really think you could test her limits by stirring up this kind of chaos?" Kaguya said, her tone hinting at something deeper. "Doflamingo... she is very unhappy."

Doflamingo's pupils shrank, his face turning pale as a sheet.

Bonney, standing nearby, stared in shock. She knew Doflamingo—he was one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, infamous throughout the Grand Line. She never imagined he would end up so pitifully.

Even more surprising was the girl she thought fragile and delicate—Kaguya. She had such overwhelming power?

But what shocked her even more was that one vague sentence had made Doflamingo react like he remembered something terrifying. His face went completely white.

What kind of force could make a Shichibukai tremble in fear like that?

Doflamingo swallowed hard, his voice trembling. "You... you mean..."

"That's right," Kaguya smiled. "She sent me. And your actions? They've made her very unhappy. Or... did you think that just because she hasn't shown herself lately, you could do whatever you want?"
