"And what about you guys? Did you find any treasures?" Lin Yifan pursued.
"No! After we came out of the forest, we've been squatting right here, not moving a step," answered Boss Mao, with a hint of panic.
They could hand over the illicitly acquired treasures to Lin Yifan, but giving him the treasures they found themselves was out of the question; they didn't want to walk away empty-handed, and among the treasures was one particularly precious item that they absolutely couldn't give to Lin Yifan.
Boss Mao disguised his intentions well, but still couldn't escape Lin Yifan's discerning eye; and he didn't believe that the Qiushan Sect found nothing, even obtaining some Spirit Beast Crystal Cores would count as acquiring something.
