Elara hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to say. "But- but-" she stammered, "You still CAN use your finger for it, right?"
"Nope, I didn't do it in a while, so I forgot how. Those complicated martial art moves need a lot of practice…" Theo sighed "helplessly", almost convincing Elara that he was truly sorry for his lack of ability. Almost.
"Liar!"
"Prove it."
The two stared at each other for a few moments in silence. Elara slowly became aware of her awkward position and blushed furiously, prompting her to stand up and put her robes on. She couldn't prove that Theo wasn't lying.
"Don't be too smug yet," Elara snorted, throwing her mesmerizing blonde hair behind her back. "My sect had arrived to challenge the Jade Lotus Sect and bring me back."
"What?" Theo jumped to his feet. "Why didn't you say so earlier?!" He understood that this time she was sent here to bring this news.
