Following Zhou Jingxian up to the third-floor attic, Xia Lu watched as he rummaged through a pile of old items and pulled out a small box that clearly had some age to it, placing it on the table. "Here it is."
Zhou Mingchen reached out to open the not-so-large box and took a brief look inside.
"At the time of Jingwen's death, he didn't carry much on him. I've been keeping it here, just waiting for when you'd remember to come and collect it. These items have been preserved in this box all these years; I was afraid of losing them and not being able to explain it to you," Zhou Jingxian said. "Now, at last, they can be returned to their rightful owner."
In the living room, Zhou Xinyao was gobbling up strawberries one by one.
