It was another unproductive day, and Jin Meng drank until she was slightly tipsy, her body reeking of alcohol, flames of nameless anger igniting in her heart.
She hadn't even reached home when she called Xia Lu. As soon as she said "hello," she vented her emotions, "Who do you think you are?"
Xia Lu pulled the phone away from her ear to confirm it really was Jin Meng calling.
"What are you talking about?"
"I said~ who do you think you are~" Jin Meng leaned back in the taxi seat, frowning and squinting, staring at the street scenes outside the window and her own face reflected in the glass, "Clearly you're already married, yet you still come out to flirt... not leaving any chance for a single beauty like me who needs love…" Her voice faded, more like she wanted to grumble to herself than for Xia Lu to hear.
"You didn't go drinking again, did you?" Xia Lu's intuition was sharp. "Have you forgotten what happened last time you got drunk?"
