Jimmy had arrived with all his luggage this time, having checked out from the hotel in Dallas. He had a legitimate reason to come to Houston; the murder case files prepared by Lambert were carefully selected, with the suspect last seen in Houston.
Jimmy wasn't planning to give up on this case. Lambert and Hughes, the two old men, had prepared such a comprehensive plan to cover his revenge, it would be embarrassing for him not to solve it once he looked back on it after it ended.
However, he could put the case on hold for a bit as he needed to find Mo Davis first. Bob had given him a detailed address, although it wasn't precise to the house number, which was expected, as their kind certainly had others drive them; knowing the approximate location was enough to find it.
