He took a step towards Dihenix before vanishing. The villain looked around before finding himself flying into the wall.
His crash broke through the wall, and he groaned in pain. "This phase of yours is pretty powerful." Dihenix said as he rose from the pile of boulders.
He looked at where Lucas was supposed to be to be met with nothing. He knew what was about to happen.
Dihenix gave a flap of his wings, pushing himself off the ground. He rose to the air with each flap of his wings.
And as he predicted, the ground where he once stood was destroyed in a sudden crash.
And as the dust settled, Lucas was revealed. He looked up at Dihenix, fury in his eyes.
He leapt up into the air, his blood hands suddenly bursting with life. He threw his hand towards Dihenix to be met with a hard wall.
Lucas looked around to see the abomination, which had taken a new form.
It was the same height as normal human, about 170 cm (5 feet and seven inches). Its body was a dark red with stripes all over. A single eye was present on the face of the abomination.
"It seems you have already made yourself a new body, Xaniours." A new voice entered the battle.
Lucas looked at his right and saw an old man holding a black stick.
"What happened to Noaz, Malvanor?" Dihenix questioned the old man.
The old man looked up, a smile on his wrinkled face. "He's fighting my shadow."
A sudden attack landed on Malvanor's neck, but he was completely unfazed.
"That physical barrier of yours is too durable. Wish I had that!" Dihenix said as he launched a ball of fire towards Lucas, who was in front of Malvanor.
Lucas jumped back, but was caught off guard off gaurd by Xaniours.
Xaniours grabbed Lucas by his blood hands and tried restraining him. Lucas, unfazed by this, landed a single attack on Xaniours' eye, completely destroying his head.
He pulled his hands away before leaping into the sky. From the corner of his eye, a ball of golden flames landed where Lucas stood.
He looked back and saw Dihenix hovering in the sky.
His blood hands extended towards Dihenix and clapped together with Dihenix in between them, releasing a burst of blood.
He separated his hands and saw the brutally injured phoenix. But before he did anything else, the phoenix went up in green flames and Dihenix emerged, unscathed.
Lucas clicked his tongue as he landed on the ground. Meanwhile, Xaniours rose from the ground, his head regenerated.
Xaniours rose his hand, a red energy pulsing from it. Lucas closed his eyes and crossed his hands.
And miraculously, his blood hands sprang to life. Their speed improved by a large margin and they began twisting and hissing unlike before.
Xaniours began rushing at Lucas, only to be crushed by a blood hand. And as he rose his fist, the remains began regenerating yet again. This time, they seemed to possess more power than before.
