"Wait… were you just eating with him?" another chimed in, voice dripping with disbelief.
"Unbelievable," said a third. "That guy's a jerk! He never even joins our weekly tasks. Thinks he's above everyone."
"He's definitely getting evicted next vote," someone muttered under their breath, loud enough to be heard.
Heaven glanced over her shoulder toward the dining area, where Ross was casually whistling to himself, completely unfazed by the drama.
She turned back to the group with a calm smile.
"I know what you guys think," she said. "But his cooking? It's impossible to say no to. One bite and you'll forget you ever had a grudge against him."
She turned on the faucet and began scrubbing the plates, unfazed by their looks.
The others exchanged glances, still grumbling, but curiosity flickered in a few eyes.
Maybe next time, they'd want a taste too.
