In the Mysterious Study Room, the desktop no longer housed the Main God Computer.
Ever since the Main God Computer transformed into a bio-computer and fused with his brain, the former computer desk had become a writing desk.
It was still an extremely large desk. The section near the Omniscient Bookshelf had two feet of space designated as the writing area.
The remaining area—three feet wide and six feet long, farthest from the Omniscient Bookshelf—held the suspended Ancient God True Realm microcosm.
After some thought, Rosen decided to give this world a new name.
After all, the core of the microcosm was now rooted in the Origin and no longer aligned with the Ancient God sequence.
Therefore, calling it the "Ancient God True Realm Microcosm" was no longer accurate. It was more appropriate to rename it the Origin Microcosm.
At the heart of the Origin Microcosm lay the Sea of Cosmic Origin. At the core of that sea was an Origin Fruit derived from the Heart of the Universe. Although that fruit had stopped growing midway, it still contained the embryonic form of a Heart of the Universe.
Surrounding the Sea of Cosmic Origin was not a starlit cosmic space, but a layered plane-universe similar to those found in the Primordial Universe.
This layered universe was divided into three levels. The first was the surface universe. The second level was an inner multiverse primarily composed of spiritual domains like the dream world, the spirit realm, the memory world, and virtual realities. The third and deepest layer was a source world similar to the Dark Sea of Origin.
Though layered upon each other, these three levels were independent. Together, they formed what was now called the Origin Microcosm.
Initially, the Origin Microcosm was incredibly vast, but its surface world had since shrunk to less than a light-year in diameter.
It looked smaller than the Ancient God World, but the difference in world strength was striking.
Even Eternal beings would struggle to cause large-scale damage in the surface world. While it still fell short of a true Primordial World endowed with the trait of indestructibility, it had already laid a solid foundation toward becoming one.
In contrast to the compact surface world, the inner spiritual realms were incomparably vast.
The memory world alone was larger than the peak-era Starry Sky Universe.
Of course, the memory world was also the most illusory of all. In its fragile zones, even ordinary people could wander in and out at will. But in its stronger regions, it could trap Eternal beings. The memories of all intelligent lifeforms within the Origin Universe served as nourishment for the memory world's growth.
At present, nearly all the population of the Origin Microcosm lived within the inner worlds.
The surface world was no longer suitable for habitation—Rosen had already designated it as one of the future battlegrounds.
With a single thought, Rosen activated the Eternal Sacred Law: Creator's Domain.
His domain directly fused with the entire Origin Microcosm. He then invoked the Creator's Will from the same Eternal Sacred Law, merging his weakened Eternal Will with the Origin Microcosm to form its Cosmic Will.
The immense foundation of the Origin Microcosm rapidly accelerated the recovery of his weakened Eternal Will. The Eternal Will he had previously converted into Immortal Will—thus reducing his Eternal Will cap—now quickly rebounded. Although this process consumed some of the universe's origin, the gain far exceeded the loss.
As the years passed under a thousandfold time acceleration, Rosen's depleted Eternal Will returned to its peak state.
With the final sublimation of his Eternal Will, Rosen could clearly feel that the amount of Immortal Will he could wield had reached its limit.
Unless he ascended to become a Primordial Lifeform, it would be impossible to grasp any more Immortal Will.
This meant that, at the level of Immortal Will, not even the Chaos Holy God could surpass him while still in the Eternal stage.
Using the ratio of Immortal Will needed to fuse with one unit of origin, Rosen calculated that his current Immortal Will totaled exactly one thousand units—perfectly merged with one thousand points of Life Origin and one thousand points of Divine Origin.
Rosen still wished to continue recovering his Eternal Will, but he soon discovered that it was now being eroded by the Immortal Will.
This meant that all his Eternal Will had completely advanced into Immortal Will. His willpower no longer had room for Eternal Will. To wield Eternal Will again, he would have to rely on his other avatars who were gradually advancing to the Eternal level.
Satisfied, Rosen grew accustomed to wielding a full 1,000 units of Immortal Will. He then attempted to use that Immortal Will to reconstruct his Eternal Sacred Body.
Since the Life Origin and the Eternal Sacred Body were inseparable, and all his Life Origin had already been integrated into his Immortal Will, the Immortal Will should theoretically be able to manifest as a physical body at any moment. However, when the Immortal Will did take form, the result was merely an enhanced version of the Eternal Sacred Body, not a Primordial Sacred Body.
The body formed from Immortal Will was ultimately a phantom body—one that could instantly disperse back into Immortal Will upon death.
In contrast, a true Primordial Lifeform's Primordial Sacred Body would leave behind a tangible and indestructible Primordial Incarnation even after death.
By studying the Moonshadow Holy God's memories, Rosen gradually discovered the root of the problem.
Immortal Will was fundamentally willpower-based; the embedded Life Origin and Divine Origin were only auxiliary components.
But the Primordial Sacred Body flipped this structure on its head—the fused Life Origin and Divine Origin became its true core, while the Immortal Will merely served as a support. He would need to use the Immortal Will to compress the origin infinitely until the origin itself could surpass and dominate the Immortal Will to finally form a true Primordial Sacred Body.
The principle wasn't hard to understand, but executing it required an unimaginably vast amount of origin.
Rosen estimated that he would have to sacrifice one-third of his Origin Microcosm just to achieve the bare minimum threshold for forming a Primordial Sacred Body.
But he was willing to make that sacrifice—because he could easily replenish it.
His Origin Microcosm was roughly equivalent to the combined mass of nearly four hundred Eternal Worlds. Sacrificing one-third of it would at most consume the equivalent of 150 Eternal Worlds. Meanwhile, the Holy Temple Microcosm consisted of more than two hundred Eternal Worlds.
By simply consuming the Holy Temple Microcosm, all losses could be fully compensated.
If that still wasn't enough, over the years, the Eternal Lives of the Holy Temple had been capturing cosmic forbidden zones. Almost every Eternal Life had opened up new Eternal Worlds—close to another two hundred Eternal Worlds—so the Origin Microcosm was far from lacking in resources.
Rosen's body disintegrated, and through the Ancient God's Eternal Sacred Body transforming all things, it partially fused with the Origin Microcosm.
A localized reversal of the transformation of all things occurred; part of the Origin Microcosm became an Eternal Sacred Body.
Next, it was necessary to compress the Life Origin and Divine Origin. Only by sublimating these two could he hope to surpass the Immortal Will and seize control. However, repeated attempts all ended in failure—his origin had already been compressed to the limits of his current ability.
He had exhausted all methods; without stronger external forces, there was no other way.
Rosen didn't consider himself smarter than the Chaos Holy Gods. If it were so easy to obtain a Primordial Sacred Body, then the Chaos Holy Gods wouldn't have been stuck at the Eternal stage for countless ages, nor would they place all their hopes on the new universe.
Though he knew the chances of success were slim, he continued to try year after year to compress and sublimate his origin.
After all, doing nothing guaranteed zero chance of success. Doing something—even if the probability was low—meant there was at least a sliver of hope. By trying more now to compress and elevate his origin, he could gain more experience and assurance for when he tried to ascend to Primordial Lifeform with the help of the new universe in the future.
Of course, these efforts didn't consume most of Rosen's focus. He only needed to devote part of his mental energy to them.
His main focus remained on pioneering the Primordial Sacred Law.
He had already successfully mastered the Primordial Sacred Law that targeted enemies' memories through endless years of deduction.
Rosen was now beginning to test whether this Primordial Sacred Law had any flaws.
Attacks targeting memory generally fell into five categories: concealing memories, deleting memories, adding memories, modifying memories, and confusing memories. However, for those who wielded Immortal Will—whose Divine Origin fused with Immortal Will—it was no easy task to affect their memories.
The Miracle Star Sea could strip memories, but it couldn't take effect quickly in combat.
The Nightshade Parasitic Flower could conceal memories, but it relied on overwhelming strength to bully the weak and was also difficult to use effectively in battle.
The Natural Joyful Melody could influence memories, but mostly by clearing negative mental states; its impact on memory itself was limited.
Eventually, Rosen took these abilities as branches, combining them with psychological methods of manipulating memory as the trunk. Through this, he successfully deduced and created the Primordial Sacred Law: Persona Deduction Method. This Primordial Sacred Law could induce multiple personalities within a lifeform.
To understand the Persona Deduction Method, one must first grasp what the source of personality in intelligent life is.
Partly, personality was innate—some were born evil, others born good.
Partly, personality was shaped by postnatal growth—some who received good education could turn away from evil; others raised among villains, even if born good, could become corrupted and eventually form vicious and brutal personalities.
The core component forming personality was the memories accumulated after birth.
Some people developed multiple personalities. Beyond brain or mental disorders, a major cause was the fragmentation of memory—some memories retained only pleasant experiences, forming a good personality; others retained only violent aspects, forming a violent personality.
Different memories constructed different personalities. These personalities shared the same root but had different thought processes and consciousness.
In theory, everyone had the potential to develop multiple personalities.
This even applied to Eternal Lives. Their avatars, after living divergent lives, could develop personality differences, which explained why some avatars rebelled against their original selves.
Regarding memory-based attacks, Rosen had considered deletion, concealment, and alteration.
All of these directly harmed the enemy's memory, but after careful thought, he rejected them all.
Because everyone knew memory was a weakness, they would naturally seek ways to patch it up.
Rosen was certain that the Chaos Holy Gods had definitely mastered Primordial Sacred Laws that protected their own memories from being affected.
If he created a Primordial Sacred Law that directly attacked memory, he would fall into a contradictory struggle.
Even accounting for thousandfold time acceleration, the computational aid of the Main God Computer, and other augmentations like the Wisdom Seed, he could only spend a few hundred million years forging a spear. Yet, the Chaos Holy Gods took at least tens of billions of years to create their shields—even without external acceleration.
So Rosen didn't dare imagine his spear could pierce the Chaos Holy Gods' shields.
Therefore, direct memory destruction would be at best mediocre.
Rosen had to change his approach. Since he couldn't directly harm memories, he would bypass the shield and let the target's memories harm themselves.
He mastered the Everchanging Sacred Law. His Divine Origin could imitate the enemy's Divine Origin; his Immortal Will could mimic their Immortal Will; even his memories could replicate the enemy's memories.
The starting point of the Persona Deduction Method was using the Everchanging Sacred Law to deceive and bypass the enemy's memory shield.
Then, instead of directly attacking memories—which would trigger the shield's defense—Rosen chose to conceal and split the enemy's memories.
He prioritized targeting unimportant memories first, then guided the fragmented memories to give birth to new personalities.
As more and more personalities emerged, he ultimately led the enemy's multiple personalities into internal conflict on the memory level.
Every personality wanted to become the dominant one. Every personality wanted to destroy the others and become the only one.
Once someone was caught in the Personality Deduction Method, they would fall into a state of cognitive fragmentation and inner conflict.
As the enemy's memory suffered more and more from this internal struggle, the defensive effect of their mental "shield" would drastically weaken. At that point, Rosen could attempt to forcibly manipulate certain personalities within the enemy through the Personality Deduction Method, eventually erasing their memories completely and rendering their Immortal Will paralyzed.
The Personality Deduction Method did not take effect instantly—it grew quietly and gradually, without leaving a trace.
Thus, concealment became the top priority. In this regard, the memory-shielding power of the Nightfall Parasitic Bloom played a critical role.
Rosen's first test subject was the Ancient God, and the medium through which he applied the Personality Deduction Method was the Dark Sun Clone, which had replaced the Primordial Incarnation.
.....
At the edge of the Dimensional Microcosm, the Ancient God had manifested all things and forged the Ancient God Microcosm.
By comparing their microcosms, the Ancient God could clearly perceive the gap between himself and the Dimensional Sacred God.
In particular, he had long noticed something—the Dimensional Sacred God had spent the past years sublimating His Eternal Will.
When they met not long ago, the Ancient God could no longer sense any trace of the Eternal Will from the Dimensional Sacred God.
He didn't need to ask to know that the Dimensional Sacred God's Eternal Will had been fully sublimated into Immortal Will.
Through the Dimensional Sacred God, the Ancient God understood how Eternal Will could be sublimated into Immortal Will, but carrying it out was another matter entirely. So far, his Immortal Will had only fused with fewer than five hundred units of Divine Origin and Life Origin.
Compared to the Dimensional Sacred God, he was still at least a full tier below.
The Ancient God was anxious—but anxiety did nothing to help.
That was because sublimating Eternal Will into Immortal Will required purging memories to make the Eternal Will as pure as possible.
Unknowingly, the Ancient God had begun to neglect parts of his memory.
The Dark Sun Clone seized this opportunity and quietly embedded the Personality Deduction Method into the Ancient God's memory.
In fact, compared to others, the Ancient God was even more susceptible to developing multiple personalities.
That was because he had manifested all things—even his Divine Origin had split into countless lives. When those countless lives returned to their source and recombined to form the Ancient God's Divine Origin again, their many different memories were also absorbed in full.
Some of the less valuable memories would be discarded, but over time, a significant number still accumulated.
At this moment, Rosen used the Personality Deduction Method to influence those memories. Gradually, as those memories were completed and filled in, they formed distinct new personalities. With the help of Nightfall Parasitic Bloom's memory-shielding effect, those newly born personalities quietly grew stronger within the Ancient God's memories.
The Ancient God increasingly felt that something was wrong—but no matter how he searched, he couldn't pinpoint the issue.
That was the most terrifying part of the Personality Deduction Method—it made the enemy's memories hurt themselves. Since the threat didn't come from an external force, their vigilance and defenses would be lowered. That gave the Personality Deduction Method just the opening it needed to subtly shift the balance of power between them.
While Rosen was testing the Personality Deduction Method on the Ancient God, he was also developing another Primordial Sacred Law.
The Personality Deduction Method was meant to weaken the enemy. The other Primordial Sacred Law was meant to strengthen himself.
The most powerful force of Immortal Will was the Power of My Thought—the ability to make one's thoughts and ideas become reality through sheer willpower. Theoretically, if an Immortal Will were strong enough, a single thought could create an entirely new universe.
Of course, that was only in theory. Even the strongest Primordial Lifeforms couldn't truly achieve such a feat.
Rosen had tried to conjure a world with a single thought, but all he could produce was an incomplete Immortal World.
That was far from enough. At the very least, with his current level of Immortal Will, he should be able to create an Eternal Microcosm with a single thought.
To strengthen the Power of My Thought, there were three crucial components.
The first was willpower—the stronger the Immortal Will, the more powerful the thought-manifestation would be.
Next was concentration—the more focused the self-awareness, the more concentrated the force of Immortal Will.
Lastly, there was cognition—if one clearly understood the full composition and function of light, then turning oneself into light using the Power of My Thought would be far easier. On the other hand, if Immortal Will tried to transform into something it didn't fully understand, the results would be clumsy and inefficient.
Since Rosen couldn't yet enhance his Immortal Will directly, he focused instead on improving his concentration and cognition.
For cognition, he worked on enhancing his analytical ability.
He evolved the All-Knowing Devil's Eye into the Eye of Eternity, and continuously sublimated tens of thousands of analytical-type sequence skills—like Historical Appraisal, Material Appraisal, Alchemical Analysis, Potion Identification, and Life Appraisal—into Eternal Sacred Laws.
At first, it was difficult. But as he progressed, it became easier.
That was because all of those skills shared the same analytical core, and the Eternal Sacred Laws they formed ultimately converged on the same path.
Eventually, Rosen merged all analytical Eternal Sacred Laws into his Eye of the Creator. Now, even when facing an Eternal Lifeform, he could rapidly analyze everything about them—except their memories—into data and information.
Thanks to this, the Eye of the Creator successfully evolved from an Eternal Sacred Law into a Primordial Sacred Law.
After resolving the cognition aspect, the next step was to enhance his concentration.
For this, Rosen used the Nightfall Parasitic Bloom to suppress intrusive thoughts, putting his self-awareness formed from memory into a pure state akin to a newborn mind. At the same time, he employed various concentration-enhancing skills to maximize his mental focus.
The results were impressive—but still not the perfect state he envisioned.
That was because analytical power and concentration were actually contradictory forces.
To boost analytical power, one had to improve observation and computation, which inevitably led to mental multitasking and overthinking.
In that case, how could one simultaneously enhance concentration?
Rosen had considered fully analyzing his target first, then suppressing analytical functions to focus his mind.
But in real combat, that kind of seamless switching was hard to pull off. He couldn't be sure that enemies wouldn't exploit the delay between modes.
That was the core problem preventing this Primordial Sacred Law, meant to enhance the Power of My Thought, from reaching perfection.
