Kill six livestock, using a leather bag for their blood. The bag was filled with blood, and it was hung mid-air and shot with arrows; the blood bursting in the sky resembled the blood of Heaven, and the archer demonstrated power, contending with Heaven. This is called Shooting the Sky.
At least, that is what the historical records left behind suggest.
However, the reality is slightly different from those records.
For example, the blood did not come from the hanging leather bag, but this bow is one of the Military God's Five Weapons.
Passed down from the hands of the Warlord, the Military God's Five Weapons originally had no individual names but were collectively referred to. However, as they were passed down, they were named individually based on their experiences. The name Heavenly Shooting Bow arose from this.
