There was a pin-drop silence in the room.
After a long while, Phoenix suddenly answered, "Give me the antibody."
It was evident that he had decided to save his mother.
God laughed upon hearing that. "Great! So, you are going to save her."
Phoenix looked at God in bewilderment. He had never seen him laugh before. He had not even seen him smile.
He even saw tears in God's eyes when he was laughing. Yet, he could not be sure if that was his imagination.
After blinking, the tears were gone.
"Luckily, you're not like me, 001." God finally stopped laughing. "At the same time, it's unfortunate that you're not like me."
Phoenix did not understand what God meant by saying that.
However, he never liked to ask questions.
Besides, he knew that even if he asked, God would not reveal anything.
God took out the test tube and handed it to Phoenix. "This is the antibody. You can bring this back for her."
Phoenix was taken aback and felt his heartbeat quicken.
