Chapter 417 - Naruto: I am Uchiha Shirou [417]

Konoha.

In the lodging of the Tsuchikage from Iwagakure.

With satisfied smiles, Ino Yamanaka and Temari both beamed happily.

Beside them, Kurotsuchi's legs were trembling, clearly exhausted, as she panted heavily for breath.

Uchiha Shirou, feeling refreshed and clear-headed, was currently outside the door.

"Jonin Keyaru, this is a mission from the Hokage."

Seeing the new mission, Shirou's eyes lit up in realization. It seemed the Seventh Hokage had called for backup after learning Kaguya Otsutsuki had broken free from her seal.

"The Fifth Hokage, Tsunade, huh."

Shirou narrowed his eyes, glancing toward the Hokage's office, a faintly amused smile curling at his lips.

"Maybe it's not just a mission. After breaking free from hypnosis, I bet the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, is using this mission as an excuse to separate me, to give himself a chance to fix everything.

As expected of the Child of Destiny—even now, he never considered quietly getting rid of me behind the scenes."

Thinking of this, Shirou's smile turned mocking.

Anyone else would've already made plans to quietly make someone disappear. But this was Naruto Uzumaki, the Child of Destiny in the ninja world.

Even after what happened with Hinata, he still thought about fixing things, not eliminating Keyaru.

"Too bad—some things can't be undone. And the desires amplified in your heart weren't illusions, nor made up out of thin air. Do you have the will to control them?

Even if you can, what happened has already happened."

Bathed in Konoha's bright sunlight, Shirou smiled, tidied up his ninja gear, and headed for the village gate.

"Keyaru."

Waiting by the Konoha gate for some time, Hanabi's face lit up as she saw him approach.

Her little ahoge above her forehead added a touch of cuteness.

"Hanabi, sorry to keep you waiting."

Seeing the adorable Hanabi, Shirou smiled and reached out to gently stroke her silky hair.

Hanabi closed her eyes in enjoyment and nodded, "This time, there's no big sister. It's just me alone with Keyaru."

Compared to the shy, introverted Hinata, Hanabi was bolder.

Right at the village gate, she unabashedly tugged her clothes, revealing her black bra to Shirou.

"Big brother Keyaru, I wore what you like underneath for you."

Over the past half year, due to Naruto's influence, one time when Shirou was checking on Hinata, Hanabi happened to drop by out of boredom.

The result was obvious: Hanabi's Byakugan widened as she saw her older sister in the house with a handsome man.

Her older sister and Keyaru seemed more like a family, and she even saw Naruto secretly watching everything from the next room.

Hokage's Office.

"Granny Tsunade and Kakashi-sensei—I've already sent people to bring them back. This time, we'll defeat the enemy."

As he prepared to face the coming threat, the Seventh Hokage Naruto Uzumaki breathed a long sigh of relief and looked up, exhausted.

But in the evening glow, looking through the window at his own home, the strongest ninja and Child of Destiny wore an unnatural expression.

Embarrassed, ashamed, angry at himself, and—deep down—secretly excited.

"Hokage-sama, here are the flowers you asked me to buy."

At that moment, an ANBU arrived, holding a bouquet on Naruto's orders.

Seeing the flowers, Naruto took a deep breath. He had deliberately sent Keyaru away to put an end to this farce and bring closure.

From now on, Keyaru would have Hanabi, and everyone could get back to normal.

"Thank you."

He nodded lightly to the ANBU, then, holding the flowers, headed home in the sunset.

But in the ANBU's eyes, his stiff posture looked like a man going to his execution.

"Could it be Hokage-sama has… lost his standing at home? Did they fight!?"

ANBU, after all, are human. Watching Naruto's back, he muttered and analyzed—ninjas always think in terms of intel.

And that was Naruto's greatest flaw—he never truly understood the temperament of ordinary ninjas.

Night fell, the moon high in the sky.

At home, as the front door creaked open, Boruto—slurping instant noodles—saw his father arrive and scowled.

He kept his head down and silently ate. Who'd have thought the Hokage's son would end up eating instant noodles every day?

He was sick of it.

"Boruto, you're home early today."

Seeing Boruto eating, Naruto forced a rare smile—though it was awkward.

But tonight he'd made up his mind. In Boruto's shocked gaze, Naruto took out a wad of cash.

"Boruto, let's eat out tonight. You can have anything you want, even yakiniku."

Naruto grinned awkwardly. Boruto stared at the money in disbelief.

"Dad, you didn't donate your paycheck to the orphanage this time? I—!"

Boruto was overwhelmed. As the Hokage's son, why was his family so poor?

It was all Naruto's fault—every month, the Seventh Hokage donated his entire salary to the orphanage.

All household expenses were covered by Hinata's dowry. For years, they'd lived off the Hyuga family.

Only in the past half-year, with Keyaru around, had things started to ease.

Keyaru never left money, but whenever he visited, he'd buy tons of groceries and even got Boruto over a dozen flavors of instant noodles.

Before, Boruto had only ever tasted the cheapest ones.

Maybe out of respect for Hinata, Keyaru would always bring clothes directly instead of giving money.

"Finally! Finally!"

Seeing the money, Boruto burst into tears. Who could understand his suffering?

Yakiniku!

"Yakiniku forever!"

With a shout, Boruto snatched the money, wolfed down his noodles, and dashed out the door like the wind, afraid his cash would be taken back.

Watching Boruto's rush, Naruto scratched his head with a wry smile.

"That kid, Boruto… I grew up on ramen, the most delicious food in the ninja world!"

Then Naruto looked up at the stairs to the second floor. His expression stiffened, but he took a deep breath to brace himself.

"Hinata…"

But as he climbed the stairs and opened his mouth, he froze in shock.

"When did this happen?!"

Somehow, a new door had appeared on the second floor.

Or rather, a big door now blocked the way upstairs, with the word "Hyuga" written on it.

In other words, though it was one house, they were living as two families. Hinata had separated from him.

Gulp!

Nervously swallowing, Naruto gritted his teeth and gently knocked.

The crisp knock was answered as the door opened. Hinata Hyuga looked at him with a cold, indifferent expression, as if he were a stranger.

"Hokage-sama, what brings you to the Hyuga household?"

Her icy tone embarrassed Naruto, who stood there awkwardly with his flowers.

As Hinata was about to close the door, Naruto hurriedly pressed forward:

"Hinata, forgive me! It was all a plot—I went with the Sage of Six Paths to another world… and was ambushed! The enemy left hypnosis in my mind…

So, everything before, it was all a plot…"

Flushed and flustered, he waved his hands, but Hinata just turned and walked into the room, cold as ever. Naruto hastily followed.

In the second-floor living room, Naruto anxiously tried to explain, but Hinata remained aloof and cold.

As he finished, Naruto stared at Hinata in a daze. No—

No, this was the first time he noticed how much Hinata had changed.

Long hair, cold face, shapely legs wrapped in black stockings, black high heels with red soles ten centimeters high.

And with her frosty gaze, she poured herself a double shot of liquor.

"Hinata, when did you learn to drink?!"

Seeing this high-and-cold Hinata, Naruto's feelings were complicated. When had he stopped noticing her changes?

Hinata sneered.

"Hokage-sama is too busy with village affairs to notice such small details."

Naruto scratched his head, trying to change the subject, when he noticed all the unfamiliar furniture and liquor on the second floor—things he hadn't seen before.

"These?"

Hinata snorted, picked up her drink, and sipped it, a mocking smile on her lips.

"These were all bought by Keyaru for me…"

Saying this, Hinata looked at Naruto with a scornful smile.

"Of course, the great Seventh Hokage wouldn't care about such things. After all, you've given every paycheck to the orphanage, living off the Hyuga family all these years, eating our food, spending our money!"

Faced with Hinata's icy, aggressive attitude, Naruto felt ashamed. Had he just been leeching off the Hyuga all this time?

"Hinata, you have to believe me—this was all the hypnosis—"

Before he could finish, Hinata suddenly laughed, her face full of contempt.

"Hokage-sama, surely you're joking. I remember hypnosis only amplifies the desires and fantasies in your heart. So, these were all your ideas—how can you blame someone else?"

"Weren't these your true feelings?"

That line—Weren't these your true feelings?—was the fatal blow.

Naruto was left speechless. What could he say?

Hinata even crossed her long legs, swinging her red-soled heels as she sneered:

"Hokage-sama, I prefer things as they are now…

If you're done, just sign this divorce agreement. Then you can be honest with yourself."

Hinata's final blow left Naruto completely frustrated.

"Hinata!"

But Hinata didn't give him a chance to speak. Swinging her heels, she looked at her toes with a playful smile.

"Hokage-sama, remember—you gave me away yourself, and isn't this just what you wanted?"

"Now, inside and out, I'm all Keyaru's woman."

Saying this, Hinata gave an almost deranged smile, staring at Naruto with contempt.

As if to say: Isn't this what you wanted to see?

Naruto's face turned red, angry as he glared at Hinata. He never thought she'd change so much in a year.

"Hokage-sama, your eyes can't fool the Byakugan. I can see the excitement in the depths of your eyes. So, Naruto Uzumaki—

Don't bother my world with my man ever again!"

Sipping her drink elegantly, Hinata was now aloof and graceful—the bullied little girl she once was, no more.

"I—"

Frustrated, Naruto stared at the unfamiliar scene before him, finally blurting out a line before fleeing the second floor in embarrassment.

"I'll be back!"

Watching him leave and the door close, Hinata sneered, placing her glass aside.

PS: Lol, it's like the Hentai plot.
