Rarely has one seen such a scene where so many gang leaders were gathered together; even at the height of the Five Great Families, it likely would have been a rare sight.
Paul was chatting with an old man with white hair when the sound of the elevator reaching the floor rang out. He looked this way and saw Lance.
After excusing himself from the person he was with, Paul quickly walked over. He was still two steps away when he stretched out his hand. Lance stepped forward to meet him, and their hands clasped together.
"Thanks for coming, Lance," Paul sighed with relief, seeming a bit more at ease.
Lance shook his hand twice. "Is the situation really bad now?"
Paul nodded, "I'll talk about that in a moment. We're still missing one person, who should be arriving soon."
"Anyway, I really appreciate you coming over!"
Lance could not help but ask after hearing the heaviness in his tone, "Did something happen?"
