As Winter struggled not to shed tears, Ryan continued speaking awkwardly.

Winter composed herself and looked up at Ryan with teary eyes.
"I won't forget," she said.

"Thank you."
Ryan gazed at Winter silently before giving a brief response.
"The same goes for me, Winter."
His warm brown eyes looked tenderly at the tearful Winter, as if he had wanted to call her by name like this at least once.
Ryan smiled gently as he watched Winter repeatedly nod her head while holding back her tears.
