Yin Kai walked back up to the stunned caretaker. She was still standing slack-jawed. "Hello. I'm here to return a beast."
She didn't respond. Pulling her from the ancestral world, he dropped the flood dragon onto the floor.
As the ground quaked, the startled caretaker jumped.
"I need you to inform the Elder Hall that I have brought back this Flood Dragon!"
"E-En! I'll let them know."
Leaving, Yin Kai went to the Elder Hall. Smiling, he went up to the counter. "I'm here to formally submit the paperwork for the treaty that the sectmaster has signed and request new sect tokens correspondent to my new status and that of my beasts."
Placing the paper down, he spoke. "As such, I'll need the Supreme Guest Elder token, four tokens corresponding to the Sect Master's beasts for my four beasts. To manage the appropriate sizes, I'll leave them here."
Still smiling, he threw out Bae Re, Mo Tong, Bian Lei, and Ba Wang. While they took up space, the large area of the Elder Hall mitigated the problem perfectly.
"For now, I'd like a list of all the beasts residing in the Martial Heaven Beast Sect. Afterwards, I'll walk around for a bit. The sectmaster is currently occupied, but he can confirm the rest with you once he returns."
The elder manning the table gulped and hoped he was making the right choice. "Yes, honoured Supreme Guest Elder."
Leaving the room, he quickly returned with a small jade. "The forgemasters are working on your new tokens. They should be ready in two days."
'This is nothing like the Huo Clan.' Yin Kai thought to himself.
"This jade contains the list of all beasts, known and unknown, in our possession, as well as the list of all the treasures in our vault."
"Thank you for your help." Yin Kai replied. Summoning his beasts back into the Ancestral World, he left once again. Leaving the pavilion, he returned to his room at the guest pavilion and began to read through the list.
Sinking his qi into the jade stone, his mind attuned to the list written inside it.
After absorbing the information, he began to formulate his plans.
Three days later, Rang Kang awoke via a bitch slap from his one and only daughter, Ràng Bàng.
"What do you think I am, dog meat on the side of the road?"
As she firmly continued hitting her father, the poor sectmaster tried to wake up and sober himself.
"Explain yourself, old man!"
With a kick, she sent him flying into one of the room's many pillars. Crashing directly into the pillar, he slid down and hit the floor.
Jumping to meet him, the woman placed her feet directly above his balls, threatening to crush them.
"Did you think I wouldn't care?" She yelled at her father.
"Care? Care about what? I'm lost, dear. Tell me what's on your mind."
Not sure how to respond, Rang Bang broke into tears. "You gave me away, Daddy. I'm engaged to be married to a man I don't even know…"
As the girl sobbed. Rang Kang became super serious. "What?! When?!"
As he tried to remember the events of the previous night, he opened his spatial ring. In it was an egg and a piece of paper. As he read the paper, his eyes got bigger and bigger until they threatened to burst.
"Don't worry, your father will make it right." As he thought about his daughter, his mind was preoccupied with the screaming he heard in the guest pavilion that day. 'Not her!'
As he raced out the door, he searched for a certain figure. 'There!' As he shot towards the figure sitting on the cliff, many thoughts went through his head. Ultimately, however, he chose to sit next to the figure, accepting tact as the first path to take.
"Yin Kai."
"Father-In-Law."
Stifling his anger, the 1,197th sectmaster of the Martial Heaven Beast Sect responded to his new Supreme Guest Elder.
"I've been waiting here to give you a gift worthy of the man who calls himself my father-in-law."
The man's face was stern. 'Whose father-in-law?'
As he thought viciously to himself, Yin Kai pulled out a shiny silver egg from his life ring.
"To show my love for this sect that I have joined by marriage, I hereby donate this true dragon egg to the Martial Heaven Sect to become the sectmaster's companion beast."
" I also donate all of my sectpoints, 90,000 spirit fruits, and 90 immortal fruits to the sect to immediately raise Rang Bang to the position of Young Sectmistress."
The sectmaster looked eagerly at the silver egg within his hands.
"Yes, yes, that's fine, whatever."
After thinking to himself for a moment, he turned around and looked at Yin Kai. "Can I get that in writing?"
