Lorren's silver eyes widened she looked concerned as she pulled her in deeper into her room, "I know but this isn't the best time-"
"Lorren I can't figure out this equation-" The door swung open Isolde's eyes widened as she stood face to face with Elias. His face was a mask, but his posture stiffened when he saw Isolde. Lorren immediately stepped between them, her arms crossed over her chest doing her best to shield Isolde from view. "Elias," she said, her words clipped. "What do you want?"
He regarded Isolde coolly before returning his attention to Lorren. "I was looking for you. The Archmage has called a meeting. Now."
Lorren's face tightened. "I'm busy." Elias' gaze flicked back to Isolde, dwelling for a moment on her hood, the way she stood in the shadows. "Clearly." His tone was edged with something sharp, something dangerous.
