Chapter 72 - A Grand Plan

Barry was fine with Oliver leaving early.

With the name of this Meta human now in possession, Barry doesn't think it will be hard for his team to track down this Meta Human. It's not like he can disappear or run fast enough to avoid them, nor is this Meta skilled enough, like Deadshot, to avoid being tracked down.

Plus, having Oliver in the city means asking for more trouble. As the Flash, he is already a huge super villain magnet. He suddenly doesn't want the League of Assassins or other villains that the Arrow deals with coming to Central City as well.

Plus, his leaving would also get Joe off his back.

Barry would have loved for them to stay and catch up as friends, but as people with secret identities fighting against world-ending villains, they can't afford that luxury.

Barry has his own things to focus on, like catching this Roy G. Bivolo, and stopping him before he does something again.

Barry goes to S.T.A.R. Labs and gives the name of the meta-human to his team, who used the new technology Felicity helped them implement to locate where the guy could be hiding.

With the guy's name, they quickly found the guy's photo and ran it through facial recognition software.

"Hey, we just got a ping from the facial recognition software on Bivolo, AKA, Prism," Cisco says, ready with a name for this Meta Human.

"Where is he?" Barry asks.

"The traffic camera just caught him entering a residence at 168 Jarvis," Cisco says.

"Alright, I am on it," Barry says. "Be careful, don't look him in his ey-" Before Caitlin could even finish her words, Barry had already hit the streets, running at super speed, leaving a trail of lightning behind him.

Some pedestrians manage to see a flash of lightning and realize that the Flash might have just run past them, making them excited.

The Flash isn't going to waste his time, stopping and talking to a guy who can induce rage by just looking into someone's eyes.

He runs into the apartment and in an instant cases the entire building before entering a crappy dark basement where his victim is standing motionless, looking down at the map of Central City.

He is planning to steal from the biggest bank in Central City while also trying to figure out how to keep the Flash distracted.

His early attempt to learn about Flash's response time almost got him caught because Flash dealt with the whole thing in a matter of minutes. If he were just a few seconds slow, it would have been him who would have been caught and not the bum he promised to pay.

Knowing he needs a much bigger distraction, something that even the Flash would get occupied with. He came up with an incredible plan.

Taking inspiration from Deadshot, he is going to whammy the entire city by displaying his eyes throughout the whole city using the billboards and screens that are everywhere.

He knows this will work because he tested his powers by recording himself with a phone and then showing the recording to a homeless man, who immediately fell into a state of uncontrollable rage.

He plans to hire a team of people, consisting of hackers and thieves. While the entire city will be trying to kill each other and the Flash will be struggling to keep them from doing so, he and his goons will break into the bank and take everything they can.

It is indeed a great plan.

But he would have never thought that the Flash would be on his ass before he could even implement it.

One second, he is looking at the map of the city. He then experiences some sort of vision shift, and the next second, he finds himself locked inside a glass cage.

First, it's confusing. He looks around, trying to figure out what is happening, but then he sees a man in a red suit looking at him from the other side of the glass cage, and he realizes what has just happened.

"Flash! Let me out! You think this will stop me? I will make you kill everyone you hold dear, and then I will personally kill you!" he shouts as the rage from the realization of being caught catches up to him.

The Flash just smiles as the metal door closes, trapping Prism in his temporary jail cell, until the city builds its own.

"Nice work, guys," Barry says as he appears in the cortex with a flash.

"Did you catch the Meta?" Caitlin asks.

"Check the cell," Barry says.

Cisco checks the cell and finds a few faces amongst the ones that were caught before. "Dude, awesome. You are getting really good at this," Cisco says.

"Well, I am just too fast. The only thing I have to do is just grab them, run them all the way here, and lock them before they can even do anything," Barry says.

"Like Dr. Wells would say, efficient work," Cisco says.

"Speaking of Dr. Wells, where is he? I haven't seen him all day," Barry says as he finally notices his absence.

"Now that you mention it, neither have I. What about you?" Cisco looks at Caitlin.

Caitlin shrugs her shoulders, indicating that she, too, hasn't seen Dr. Wells all day.

While Caitlin and Cisco might not think much of it, Barry, on the other hand, is worried. This is the Reverse Flash we are talking about.

His being absent all day is not a good sign; he is definitely up to something.
