Brea gave three slight knocks on the door in front of her and took a step back. Mere seconds later the door opened and a timid maid walked out.
"Do you have the gown?" Brea asked in a hushed tone.
"Yes Lady Brea." The maid nodded.
"And are you alone?"
"Yes Lady Brea." The maid nodded.
"Here... you know what needs to be done." Brea said placing the dagger in the maid's hands.
"But Lady Brea... I...I...I... cannot do this." The maid looked down at the dagger in her hands.
"You cannot say that now dearie." Brea smiled sweetly. "Not now, especially not when the evidence is already in your hands." Brea chuckled softly.
"I...I.. have not done anything yet Lady Brea... I can still leave it." The maid said she had thought this through and well, she did not have the heart to do what she was asked.
