Chantelle didn't even get a chance to run.
"Why are you so mad, Mr. Wilson?" She asked as she stared directly into his eyes.
"You're asking why I'm angry? Of course, you don't know because you don't care about me at all!" Daniel's eyes were even redder as he shouted.
Chantelle could tell that, underneath all the anger, he was hurt.
A strong surge of guilt wrapped around her throat like a rope. If it got any tighter, she wouldn't be able to breathe.
Ashton glanced at her. She looked down and picked up the tablet lying on the seat. She unlocked it and saw the news about her.
"Mr. Wilson, if it bothers you that much, we can hold a joint press conference to announce we're divorced. That way, whatever I do won't be your concern anymore."
Chantelle thought she was being reasonable. However, Daniel's anger only became worse after hearing her words.
