The strength radiating from his eyes inspired respect in some students, but many of them still looked down on him.
"Today, we will focus on the essence of Steel Strength," Nyvar began in a calm tone.
"Steel Strength is not primarily just about the power of a strike or the sharpness of a blade, even though that too is very important. But it's also about the harmony of body, mind, and weapon. When you delve into martial arts, you must understand how every strike, every deflection, and every rotation of the weapon stems from your own internal fortitude," he said and rubbed his eyes.
"Alright, first I want to see your martial arts. Once I see it, I'll tell you your weaknesses that need improvement. Each of you will fight with me for a bit, and when I say so, the next one will go. Don't use any techniques or spells, I just want to see your martial arts. I'll only be dodging and imitating my hand as a sword, I won't actually attack you," said Nyvar and stretched.
