Gu Yunnain rushed over only to be told Fu Ling fell asleep after coming back.
He greeted the parents and went upstairs. Seeing the person sleeping peacefully and the phone on the table, his anxious heart calmed down.
He laughed at his own foolishness but couldn't deny that seeing it with his own eyes made him alot more relieved.
Gu Yunnain took of his outer cloths and got into bed with Fu Ling. There was still time for a quick nap.
Fu Ling snuggled into his arms subconsciously and Gu Yunnain smiled. Soon enough his breathing evened out and he fell into the land of dreams.
Fu Ling woke up and felt himself encircled by strong arms. He looked back at the man's sleeping face speechlessly. Didn't he just leave Gu's company a few hours ago? How come the boss was now in his bed?
Fu Ling shifted in an attempt to stand up but Gu Yunnain woke up because of his tossing.
"What time is it?"
His voice was hoarse from sleeping and Fu Ling's ears trembled. He picked up his phone and looked at the time. It was almost seven in the evening.
Gu Yunnain sprang up once he saw this and rubbed a palm over his face.
"I'll take you somewhere"
Fu Ling who was pushed to the door of the bathroom still wasn't sure how things came to this and tried to resist
"What is going on? Where are you taking me?"
Gu Yunnain stopped and looked at him
"Or so you want us to bath together?"
Fu Ling paused and the bathroom door slammed shut causing Gu Yunnain to chuckle. He sent a message to assist Wen confirming everything was in order.
When Fu Ling came out of the shower, Gu Yunnain slipped right in and the warm air hit his face along with the smell of shower gel. He looked down and thought to himself that he seemed to be a bit perverted.
After solving the psychological needs, he washed up quickly and went out. Fu Ling already prepared a set of clothes for him but was looking at him weirdly.
"Since when do you take so much time in the shower?"
Gu Yunnain blushed fiercely and didn't know what to say so he muttered a few words noncommittal. Fortunately Fu Ling didn't pursue it and he breathed out a sigh of relief.
After getting dressed, they didn't waste any more time and Gu Yunnain half dragged Fu Ling downstairs coming face to face with the couple.
Both parties looked at each other with a bit of awkwardness before Fu Ling tried to smooth things out.
"I'll be going out with Gu Yunnain"
That much was obvious. He didn't know what time he would be back so he added
"You don't have to wait up for me"
The couple shared an ambiguous gaze and Gu Yunnain coughed slightly but the person involved didn't notice anything was wrong.
By the time they got to the restaurant it was almost nine. The waiter attentively led them to the rooftop and consciously made himself scarce.
Fu Ling felt like the atmosphere was different from usual but couldn't quite place his finger on it so he decided to enjoy the food however he wasn't able to eat anymore after sometime.
The fifth time Gu Yunnain sneaked a peak at him, he couldn't bare it anymore and directly asked
"Is there something on my face?"
Gu Yunnain blinked
"No"
"Then why have you been looking at me secretly? Did something happen?"
Gu Yunnain cleared his throat
"Look up"
Before Fu Ling could ask what he meant, there was a burst of light in the sky. He looked at the words spelt out in shock. [Fu Ling will you be my boyfriend?]
Fu Ling looked at the somewhat anxious man and understood why he felt off today.
"Is this what you were planning?"
Gu Yunnain saw that Fu Ling didn't answer him but asked a question instead and his face paled but he forced Jim's to smile and answer.
"Yes"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Don't you like it?"
Even though Fu Ling felt they were already together and there was no need for all this trouble there was no denying he felt sweet in his heart. He had never been in a relationship and never concerned himself with things relating to love so he didn't know there was supposed to be a special confession. He put it at the back of his mind and smiled brightly at the man.
"I like it. Of course I like it. Thank you.. boyfriend"
Gu Yunnain was relieved and returned to his casual appearance
"Is that all?"
Fu Ling rolled his eyes
"Hooligan"
Although he said that it didn't stop him from rushing straight into the man's arms and hugging him tightly.
Gu Yunnain hugged his back and as they separated to look at each other they air seemed to heat up. Fu Ling gulped and leaned down and planted his lips on the other person's. His heart strated beating faster and he swung his leg over the man completely straddling him.
Fu Ling closed his eyes and went in for a deeper kiss this time. He sucked on the man's lower lip while Gu Yunnain sucked on his upper lip. He wanted to back away when Gu Yunnain pressed his head and pried open his teeth with his tongue.
Fu Ling groaned and subconsciously grinded his hips but stopped abruptly. Gu Yunnain also stopped kissing him and they both looked down at the same time. Fu Ling was so embarrassed he wished he could find a crack to hide himself in.
Gu Yunnain looked at their bulging lower bodies and his embarrassed boyfriend and came up with a bad idea. While Fu Ling was distracted, he pressed on the bulge and Fu Ling almost screamed bit forced himself to swallow it down but couldn't help but let out a moan.
"Fuck. Gu Yun Nain!"
Gu Yunnain deliberately twisted his words
"Okay. But not here. Let's go to my place"
Fu Ling knew this guy was pretending to be stupid but it wasn't time to settle accounts so he hummed softly.
