"You know..." Asher muttered, his eyes trailing slowly down Valerie's naked curvaceous figure. "You're too kind for your own good, Val. But I suppose... it's never easy to watch your own sister scream in pain and do nothing, huh?"
Valerie lowered her gaze, shame clouding her soft features. "I'm sorry, Master," she whispered. "But please... don't hurt her anymore. I can't stand it. I just can't."
Rin growled quietly, her crimson eyes flicking aside, tension simmering beneath her calm.
Asher's voice remained cold, his tone even. "That depends on her. I don't forgive easily—especially not someone who tried to have me killed. If I let her go, what's to stop her from trying again? Or worse, hurting someone I care about?" He narrowed his gaze. "I can't take that risk."
"Fucking brat!" Veyna spat, her face contorted with agony as she clutched her shattered leg. "You'll regret this! He'll kill you!"
"He?" Asher's brow arched. "Now that's interesting… who's 'he'?"
