Chapter 11 - CH. 10 Moro ARC?

Vegeta and Moro were still locked in battle, but as the fight dragged on, Moro began absorbing the energy of the planet itself. The land withered, the air grew heavy, and soon, the monstrous sorcerer extended his power further—draining the strength of all living beings on the planet, including Vegeta and Goku.

All except Blair.

As a divine being, her godly energy was immune to Moro's abilities, leaving her completely unaffected. She watched as Goku and Vegeta collapsed, their power stolen, while Moro cackled triumphantly.

Meanwhile, far away, Whis detected the sudden shift in the planet's life energy and immediately turned to Beerus.

"Lord Beerus," Whis said in a calm but knowing tone. "It seems a certain devourer of planets is causing quite the disturbance."

Beerus scoffed, crossing his arms. "Hmph. Sounds like someone's finally doing my job for me." He smirked, but Whis simply smiled, tilting his head.

"Ah, but you may want to know… Blair is currently on that planet."

Beerus froze. His smug expression disappeared instantly, replaced with wide-eyed concern.

"What?!" His voice rumbled, his energy flaring slightly as he turned toward Whis. "Why is she—?! That brat—!!" He clenched his fists, his tail lashing behind him in frustration.

Back on New Planet Namek, Blair was now engaged in battle with Moro. Unlike Goku and Vegeta, she had no trouble against him.

In fact, she was having way too easy of a time.

Her attacks landed cleanly, her dodges were effortless, and despite Moro's best efforts, she wasn't even breaking a sweat.

Blair's sharp golden eyes sparkled with excitement at first, but that excitement quickly faded as she realized something disappointing—

This was boring.

"This is it?" she huffed, pouting mid-fight. "I thought you'd be stronger."

Moro snarled, trying to land a hit, but Blair easily flipped over him, tapping his forehead with her tail mockingly before sending him flying with a casual backhand.

She sighed. Lame.

Deciding she was done playing around, she used Instant Transmission and vanished. Seconds later, she reappeared with Merus, Jaco, and Buu in tow.

"Okay! Maybe now things'll get fun!" she chirped excitedly.

However, before she could jump back in, she and the others turned to see Moro standing tall, a wicked grin on his face.

He had just made a wish.

Blair's nose scrunched in annoyance as she felt his energy skyrocket—he was suddenly back to full strength.

As Moro laughed, basking in his renewed power, Buu suddenly stiffened. His eyes narrowed with recognition, memories of the Grand Supreme Kai flashing through his mind.

His usual carefree demeanor faded.

Without hesitation, Buu lunged at Moro, the two of them crashing into battle, leaving Blair momentarily without an opponent.

That's when she felt it—

A familiar, beloved energy rapidly approaching.

Her golden eyes sparkled with joy as she turned, spotting a streak of purple light descending toward her.

"Daddy!!"

Blair wasted no time, launching herself straight into Beerus's arms the moment he arrived.

Beerus barely had time to react before his little girl snuggled against his chest, nuzzling into his fur with a happy purr.

His large hands instinctively wrapped around her, pulling her close as his ears twitched.

Despite his worry, a wave of relief washed over him as he lifted her face, inspecting her closely.

"You're not hurt?" he asked, his voice uncharacteristically soft.

Blair giggled, shaking her head. "Nope! I'm totally fine!"

Beerus exhaled, hugging her tighter before glancing at the ongoing fight. "Who's the bastard that thought they could attack my daughter?"

Blair peeked over his shoulder and pointed toward Moro. "That goat guy."

Beerus narrowed his eyes at the sorcerer, a low growl rumbling in his throat.

"Tch. I remember him," he muttered.

His tail flicked in irritation before his sharp eyes returned to Blair. "And you fought him?"

Blair nodded eagerly, puffing her chest out with pride. "Yeah! But he was weak. Super weak."

Beerus's eye twitched.

This fool—this insignificant, washed-up criminal—dared to attack his little girl?

His energy flared for a brief second before he forced himself to relax.

Goku, Vegeta, and Buu seemed to have things under control, and the last thing he wanted was for Blair to stay here any longer.

Without warning, he scooped her up and cradled her in his arms.

"Alright, that's enough excitement for one day. We're leaving."

Blair's ears perked up, and she gasped. "What?! Nooooo! I wanna watch the fight!" She pouted, squirming slightly in his grasp.

"No." Beerus's grip tightened slightly, holding her securely against him. "We're going home."

"But Daddy—!"

"No buts."

Blair huffed, crossing her arms stubbornly as Beerus turned to Whis.

"Whis, send us back."

Whis chuckled knowingly. "Of course, Lord Beerus."

"Don't worry, Blair," Whis said, smiling as he followed after them. "We can always watch the fight through my staff."

Blair gasped, her ears perking up again. "Wait, really?!"

Beerus sighed, rolling his eyes but smiling as he held his little troublemaker close. "Yes, yes. Just sit still, you little brat."

As they flew off holding onto Whis, Blair's complaints faded, replaced with pure excitement as she curled up in her father's arms, ready to enjoy the battle from the safety of home.

Back on Beerus's planet, the atmosphere was peaceful—except for the excited bouncing of one particular little goddess.

Blair sat snugly in her father's lap, her small tail flicking back and forth as she eagerly watched the glowing projection on Whis's staff.

She had a massive bowl of popcorn in her hands, the golden kernels glistening with butter.

Her bright golden eyes were glued to the fight, her tiny fangs peeking out as she grinned widely.

Beerus, lounging lazily with his arm wrapped around her waist, sighed in amusement. "You better not spill that all over me, brat."

Blair didn't even look at him as she shoved a handful of popcorn into her mouth. "I won't, Daddy! Now shhh, the fight's getting good!"

Beerus smirked. His daughter was such a battle-loving little thing.

On the glowing projection, Buu and Moro's battle raged on with terrifying intensity.

Buu, in a rare moment of seriousness, launched himself at Moro, his rubbery body twisting and stretching unpredictably.

His fists elongated and slammed into Moro's face like whips, sending the sorcerer skidding across the battlefield.

Moro snarled, raising his hand, gathering a swirling sphere of dark energy before firing it straight at Buu.

But Buu's body twisted unnaturally, bending backward at an impossible angle, dodging the attack with eerie fluidity.

Then, with a loud snap, he snapped back into shape and grinned.

"Ohhh, that was so cool!" Blair squealed, bouncing on Beerus's lap and accidentally sending a piece of popcorn flying.

Beerus sighed, plucking the rogue kernel off his chest. "Watch it."

Blair barely noticed, her tail curling in excitement as she shoved more popcorn into her mouth.

Back on the battlefield, Moro growled in frustration.

"You insignificant bastard," he spat, wiping his mouth before rushing forward. His movements were fast—faster than before.

The ground beneath him shattered as he closed the distance in an instant.

But Buu was ready.

With a gleeful chuckle, Buu's entire upper body suddenly detached, stretching into multiple tendrils that wrapped around Moro's arms and legs.

Moro struggled, thrashing against the unnatural restraints, but Buu's grip only tightened.

Then—

BOOM!

Buu exploded.

Blair gasped, her ears perking up as the battlefield was engulfed in a bright pink explosion.

Smoke and debris shot into the sky, completely obscuring Moro from view.

For a few seconds, there was silence.

Then, from the smoke, pink globs of Buu started reforming, reshaping into his usual, round form.

Blair was losing her mind.

"THAT WAS AWESOME!!" She practically screamed, kicking her legs in excitement.

"Daddy, did you see that?! He just went boom and then—poof!—came back like it was nothing! That was so cool!!"

Beerus chuckled, rubbing her head. "Yes, yes, I saw.

Settle down before you choke on your popcorn."

Blair quickly stuffed another handful into her mouth, chewing as she stared at the fight with unblinking eyes.

Moro emerged from the explosion, furious but unharmed. His energy flared wildly, his aura distorting the air around him.

"I have had enough of these games," he growled, his hands glowing with dark energy. "Die."

With a flick of his wrist, Moro unleashed a barrage of deadly energy blasts, each one aimed to disintegrate Buu on contact.

But Buu laughed.

Instead of dodging, his body absorbed the blasts, the dark energy sinking into his gooey form. He wobbled slightly, then grinned wider.

Moro's eyes widened in realization.

"You… what did you—?!"

Buu suddenly burped—and with that, he spat the attacks right back at Moro.

Blair nearly choked on her popcorn. "—PFFT—HAHAHAHA!"

Beerus smirked, watching as Moro barely managed to deflect his own attack.

Blair was practically vibrating with excitement. "Buu is the best!"

The fight continued, Buu's unorthodox combat style keeping Moro completely off balance.

Every time Moro tried to land a finishing blow, Buu would twist, stretch, or split apart, evading attacks in the most ridiculous ways possible.

At one point, Moro tried to punch Buu in the face—only for Buu's entire head to inflate like a balloon, bouncing Moro's fist right back at him.

Blair clutched her stomach, laughing so hard that she almost dropped her popcorn. "This is so fun!!"

Beerus couldn't help but smirk. His daughter truly found joy in battle, whether she was fighting herself or simply watching.

It was one of the many things he adored about her.

As the fight raged on, Moro became more desperate, more aggressive. His attacks grew wild and reckless, his frustration mounting with every failed attempt to put Buu down.

Blair's eyes gleamed. "Ooooh, Daddy, I think it's about to get even better!"

Beerus hummed. "We'll see."

As Moro powered up for another attack, Blair curled up comfortably against her father's chest, her tail wrapping around his arm as she grinned.

This fight was amazing.

And she couldn't wait to see what happened next.
