"Brother, why isn't he answering my calls..." He Nuoxin whispered.
He Bainian didn't answer because he couldn't. He just bent down to pick up the large pieces of debris from the floor and threw them into the trash can.
"Nuoxin, it's time to take your medicine."
After a long while, He Bainian took the medicine the servant had prepared earlier into his hand.

"Nuoxin..." Before He Bainian could finish his sentence, there was a loud slap, and He Nuoxin knocked the medicine out of his hand.
The small white pills scattered across the carpet, clearly no longer edible.
Even He Bainian's good temper was worn out by He Nuoxin.
"He Nuoxin, he doesn't even want to see you!" He Bainian shouted, bracing his arms on either side of He Nuoxin.
He Nuoxin's slender body shivered.
