Jocelyn Yeager entered the cabin, drew the curtains, and as daylight streamed through the window, he said mildly, "Young Master Leclair, please wait a moment."
Ignatius Leclair stood in front of the cabin, silent and cold.
Jocelyn Yeager's people soon brought in a middle-aged woman in her forties or fifties. Her skin was slightly dark, her features plain and unremarkable, with deep wrinkles at the corners of her eyes, and cracked skin. She seemed timid upon entering, and with a single glance, Ignatius Leclair could tell she was Asian but not from Southeast Asia.
"Maya, this is a family member of Delphine. I would trouble you to convey the matters you told me that day to this gentleman," Jocelyn Yeager said to the woman courteously, his words gentle and warm.
