Easton Holmes didn't say yes or no. He silently left the house, pulling Lily Turner with him, leaving Amelia Linton alone at home.
"Where are you taking me?"
Pulled out the door without a word, and then into the car without a word, Lily was both annoyed and puzzled.
Easton started the car while replying, "Didn't you want to get some fresh air? I happen to want to get some fresh air too, let's go together."
As he spoke, he had already started driving out of the courtyard.
"Your mom is still at home, if you leave with me like this, she'll be even more annoyed with me." At this, Lily couldn't help but look back at the house behind them.
Just then, Amelia chased out from the house, and she turned to remind the man driving, "Your mom is coming after us!"
"Mrs. Holmes! I must remind you, she is your mother-in-law." Just now at home calling her 'auntie', and now saying 'your mom', Easton turned his head to glance at the woman in the passenger seat, his expression serious and earnest.
