Aria's pov
"I don't know if I'm ready for this," I admitted, my voice barely a whisper.
She pulled back, her expression serious. "You are. I've seen you handle everything life throws at you with grace and strength. You'll make a great queen."
Her words gave me a measure of comfort, and I nodded, drawing strength from her confidence in me.
The night wore on, and though I was exhausted, I forced myself to stay engaged, knowing that this was just the beginning of my new life. As the last of the guests departed and the grand hall finally fell silent, I felt a wave of relief.
I slipped away to a quiet balcony, needing a moment to myself. The cool night air was a welcome change from the stifling heat of the crowded hall. I looked out over the palace grounds, the moon casting a silvery glow over everything.
This was my kingdom now. My responsibility. I took a deep breath, resolving to face whatever challenges lay ahead with the same determination that had brought me to this moment.
