Derrick's POV
I stormed back into my office, fists clenched. Anger bubbled in me like a volcano ready to erupt. The door slammed shut behind me, rattling the walls from how hard I had pushed it. Timothy followed me quietly, shutting the door with a gentler touch.
"There's no way I'm marrying another woman," I snapped, crossing over to where my desk was and taking a seat. "I haven't even gotten rid of Anita yet, and now they're already shoving another one down my throat?"
Timothy nodded, stepping closer. He had a much calmer look on his face, like he actually understood how I felt. He took a seat, running a hand over his face. "I understand. They blind sided you with that Quinn girl. You didn't even get a say."
