Greg's eyes snapped open and he sucked in a sharp breath, jumping up to his feet at the same time. His right hand shot up to the back of his head and he grabbed the wires and cables connected to it, ripping them out of their plugs with no care for the harm that might cause.
Only once the connection was severed did the pain assaulting his mind stop.
"Fuck fuck fuck FUCK!!!"
His body, or his Exocore, to be more precise, was on the brink of catching fire. Though he managed to disconnect on time, the damage was already done, leaving him desperate for what little chance he had to minimize it.
"Motherfuckers!!!"
As he yelled and cursed, Greg executed several programs and went about fixing the damage done to his Exocore. He then gave several commands to his van, starting its autopilot so it would drive him away from that place.
